Flat grassy area in two terraces with a variety of plantings, partly divided into fields by hedges. Located near a marina of the same name, next to a tributary of the River Ems. Road within earshot.
Access for visitors of the marina through the campsite area. Separate parking for cars applies only to the tent meadow.

Great Campsite
Super friendly operators—always helpful. Great place, very quiet.
Great location. A lot of potential! Renovations are ongoing and making progress. I hope that visitors make an effort to leave everything clean and tidy... Some places could really use that!! To the operators, keep going, the place is super!!!!

Great scenic site, poor infrastructure
We were here in autumn. Not much going on anymore. The site is characterized by seasonal campers, some of which look terrible. We were directly behind the dike, with a magnificent view. Site in Poor Condition
We were at the site over New Year's. There were several broken caravans at the site that looked like junk. The washrooms were in need of renovation and the site was very outdated.

Great, aging campsite with a lot of potential
We were at the campsite for 9 nights and found it great! We were relatively close to the Ems, had very nice contact with the operators and the staff in general, and had our own little sanitation building. Everything was great 😊 Looking forward to next time

Very dirty, owner very unfriendly
We were there in October 2022. Our private sanitation was completely filthy and infested with beetles and other vermin. The shower had mold in the grout of the floor and the shower cabin was just disgusting. The toilet and sink seemed to have not seen cleaning products for a long time. The sanitatio… More

Simple but friendly and clean
Formerly operational and now backfilled marina, some permanent campers, the two sanitation houses are in need of renovation but are kept very clean. Good, clean campsite, being gradually renovated.
We were relatively spontaneous for one night with a VW bus here. Called in advance and asked if we could arrive between 9 PM and 10 PM, no problem. With a location just a short distance from the border with the Netherlands and direct access to the River Ems, Ems-Marina Bingum offers an idyllic location. Combined with a particularly child-friendly atmosphere, it is an ideal place for a relaxing family holiday.
The site has 200 pitches for holidaymakers spread over an area of around 6.7 hectares. The pitches are between 100 m² and 150 m² in size and offer plenty of space and privacy. Electricity and water connections, a small bakery and freely accessible sanitary facilities ensure a comfortable stay. Highlights for children include the large playground, a mini golf course and the directly adjacent Texas Riverranch with pony rides and riding lessons. With its own harbour including slipway and access to the River Ems, which in turn provides a direct connection to the North Sea, the campsite is also ideal for holidaymakers with boats. Parking spaces and the nearby motorway provide even more convenience in this respect. The flat terrain of the region is also ideal for excursions by bike. Both the well-known Ems cycle path and the Fehnroute run just a short distance from the campsite. The multilingual staff at reception are also happy to help with any questions about regional excursion destinations. Whatever the weather, a visit to the town of Leer, just 5 kilometres away, is recommended. Here, the Bünting Tea Museum, the Kunsthaus or the museum harbour ensure an entertaining stay whatever the weather.
