Located directly on a small bay southwest of Cartagena, Camping El Portús offers nature-based camping with sea views – ideal for peace seekers, independent travellers, and naturist enthusiasts. The terraced site is divided into two zones: textile and naturist, each with spacious pitches and comfortable accommodations. A highlight is the bathing area with two pools, a whirlpool, and a sauna. The surroundings invite visitors to hike, swim, and relax – set between mountains, the sea, and the Calblanque Natural Park. The historic city of Cartagena is just a few kilometres away and adds culture, harbour charm, and Mediterranean lifestyle to the holiday. A place to relax in the heart of nature.

Site
The campsite enclosed by rocks on spacious, partly flat and partly terraced grounds with various trees scattered around. Tourist pitches only available on the flat section. Views overlooking the rocky bay.
Access to water
Approximately 120m long and up to 60m wide beach with coarse gravel in a bay enclosed by rocks.

Impossible Campsite
Unfriendly reception (reception rude) Apocalyptic atmosphere at the site. Long-term campers were terminated. The place looks like a demolition site. Apocalyptic atmosphere. Pool closed. We will never return to this campsite.

Everything in Transition
The view of the bay is very beautiful, besides swimming, you can also hike in the surrounding mountains, which requires sure-footedness. Close to nature in a 70s look
We were here for 3 days on our way through. The place was OK, quiet, and the bay is simply great. The sanitary facilities are really from the 70s and in need of renovation. Traveling with a camper van requires a vehicle to get to Cartagena. The small restaurant has very good cuisine and a great view… More

attractive location. Characterized by (rental) cabins and permanent campers. Well suited for hiking. Almost no bike paths.

Rather spartan facility. Pebble beach. Ideal for (married) couples without children who simply want to spend a vacation at the beach with basic provisions - beach, electricity, clean sanitary facilities, and affordable food supply. We will definitely come back next year.
