The pitch is fine. The ADAC information about wifi on the site is incorrect. In response to my inquiry at the reception, I was told: We are no longer doing anything with ADAC. So please check your information in the ADAC app.

I was with my 6-year-old child in the shepherd's hut in March. Despite heating, it was hardly warm. Upon request, we received winter blankets, which were charged to us for 30€ for the 4 nights, as well as a heater. The hut had black, dried damp spots in all corners, and even mushrooms were growing under the bench, and there was mold there. Even my son noticed the strong stench. The mattresses had stains and other marks. One evening, a carpenter came and screwed several screws about 30 cm long into the hut from the outside, which protruded inward at pillow height. During our stay, the site manager was repeatedly very irritated and unfriendly. Upon departure, he immediately complained that we had been told that the additional bed linen costs extra. He did not address the shortcomings and inconveniences, nor was there any offer or apology.

After more than 50 years of camping, this campsite is unfortunately the worst we have ever experienced. At a good campsite, you expect to be treated kindly and fairly as a customer, and that problems are addressed properly. That after a booking, there are no hidden costs that come to light later and if there are, they can also be explained backed up with proof. You should always be able to see or hear if and when the wash/toilet facilities are closed for cleaning and opened again, so you don't find yourself in front of a closed door when you need to pee. Fortunately, at this campsite you can and must empty the toilet container for 2 Euros per time, day and night, outside next to the toilet building as long as you are fit enough to overcome a certain height of about 2.50 meters with a full container.

Nicely laid out area, terraced, washroom always clean, great restaurant with very delicious food. Everything is super friendly! Highly recommended 👌🏼

Super nice management, costs corresponding to performance and quality. Great view, beautiful hiking trails. Restaurant super tasty and you can spend sociable evenings in the cellar bar.

Very pleasant atmosphere, quietly located, new sanitary facilities with family shower and individual showers. Very good kitchen, friendly staff, well-kept ambiance. Petting zoo and playground available, mini-golf and other leisure options. In the basement bar, you can watch football or other events on two large screens. The new owners are open to everything that is important to campers.

Great location, quiet except for occasional street noise, perfect for extensive hikes! Unfriendly management, water connections at the site locked, Wi-Fi for a fee - but not available on the site! There are recommendable places in the area!
