Camping Duinzoomhoeve

When staying at the Duinzoomhoeve campsite, one must know that it is located right in the flight path for arrivals and departures of Den Helder Airport. This is one of the largest helicopter airports in Northwestern Europe. Consequently, it is quite loud due to the traffic. The site is located between Julianadorp (about 3 km) and Den Helder (about 6.5 km). Bicycles or similar means of transport are therefore essential. The campsite has 16 pitches with private bathrooms/toilets, which also have to be paid for. For the remaining 14 pitches, there are only 2 unisex toilets and three unisex showers. For a site that, according to the operator, is supposed to be among the top 5 in the Netherlands, I feel it lacks a bit of general internal infrastructure.

A very lovingly maintained site. The plots are spacious. The sanitary building was clean and well-kept. The site is very quiet. However, those who are light sleepers may be briefly woken around seven thirty by a helicopter flying out to sea. It didn't bother us. The bread service offers a selection of baked goods that must be ordered the night before. Very delicious! The bought jams also taste great!

Really awesome campsite, run with a lot of passion. Bun service provided by the operators. We had a pitch with private sanitary, so we can't comment on the sanitary building, but we strongly assume that it's also very clean and well-maintained. Tips, information, and the bun ordering can all be done via the campsite app. The location is also very nice, amidst the flower bulb fields, which bloom in wonderful colors.

A fine little outstanding place. Well located and very well equipped. The private restrooms are simply great. We felt very comfortable. Mary and her family do a great job!

Very friendly family, quietly located you hardly hear any cars. The site is in very well-kept condition. The private sanitary facilities are super clean, well maintained, and highly recommended. When we are in Julianadorp, we will definitely start again at this site.

Simply a wonderful place! A small but very very beautiful site, also with private sanitary facilities. You just feel comfortable in this family campsite. The path through the dunes to the beach is wonderful - the next vacation is already booked 👍
