Camping Du Lac in the French Pyrenees is beautifully surrounded by forest and mountains and is a popular family destination in both summer and winter. Camping Du Lac, with its magnificent pool area, is set in extensive meadows right on the shores of the lake at Arcizans-Avant. In bad weather, the indoor pool 2 kilometres away is a great place to go. Children can have fun with their dog or in the playground. A snack bar provides the inevitable chips. Arcizans-Avant and a good restaurant are just a few minutes' walk away. In winter, a ski bus runs to the ski lift 8 km away. It is only 2 km to a supermarket that stocks everything you need for the galley. The VE station is a welcome service.
