Summarized by AI
The campsite scores with its brilliant location right by the river and the great view of the castle. Campers particularly enjoy the relaxed, quiet atmosphere and the proximity to the charming town. The spacious, green pitches and the friendly team complete the feel-good package. Good to know for the trip: You should pack your own toilet paper.

We had a wonderful week. The campsite is quiet, excellently maintained, and a perfect base for exploring Normandy. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The spacious pitches overlooking the Castle of William the Conqueror were fantastic. Electricity and water are always nearby. The modern restrooms are spotlessly clean and are cleaned twice a day. Very friendly staff who made an effort to speak English. Ideal location for excursions to Caen, Houlgate, and Honfleur. The concert in front of the castle made our stay extra special.
Actually nothing. For us, it was an excellent campsite and we would love to come back.

Very easy to reach, great view. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Everything was great, tarmacked pitch for the motorhome with a patch of grass and a view directly onto the Chateau.
Pitch/Rental accommodation: The showers could use a bit more attention during cleaning.

This is my third stay at the Falaise campsite and the pleasure of being here remains the same. It is a very simple campsite, well maintained by lovely and accommodating managers and staff who are always attentive to our needs. This year I noticed some appreciated improvements: a refrigerator/freezer available, cycle tents for hikers, and electricity at all pitches. Speaking of pitches, they are of adequate size and varied, often shaded by the many trees and delineated by bushes. The campsite is nestled in a small historical valley at the foot of the castle. Location/Rental Accommodation: Shaded, flat, spacious pitches near a water point and electricity.
I see nothing negative; from my point of view, everything is sufficient for a good stay. Location/Rental Accommodation: No adaptable electrical socket available...

Very nice campsite with a view of the castle. There is enough space in the plot and not too many hedges. The sanitary facilities are clean, and there is a common room with a refrigerator. The pitches are nice and slightly elevated, with a tap and electricity directly at the site, and toilets nearby.
A few more showers would be nice. Unfortunately, there was no toilet paper (as is the case everywhere in France).

The lodge concept is very suitable for light-traveling hikers. Very well located. Pleasant welcome. Clean. Location/Rental accommodation: Great concept.
It would be helpful to provide hikers with some dishes they don’t have. This would make their everyday life easier. Sound insulation.
