We traveled with a tent. The tent fields were bordered by large hedges – but the pitches inside were not. We really liked it this way. The fields have several picnic tables and benches. The sanitation facilities are typically English (narrow toilet stalls that are aging, not well-maintained - but always clean). At the reception, there is a bread and rolls service. You order the day before and pay immediately. The next morning, you can pick up the ordered items. We gladly took advantage of this. The service staff sometimes came across as a bit brusque, but our concerns and questions were always addressed professionally.
