Transylvania is inextricably linked with the myth of Count Dracula, which this campsite in Căpăţîneni-Pămînteni has made its own. You can spend the night here in a wooded area in the middle of the Carpathians and can look forward to classic pitches for tents and motorhomes. The rustic wooden huts are very popular. Outside, there are covered picnic areas, which also include public barbecue areas. The site is happy to organise various activities for young and old. A trip to the nearby Lake Vidraru near Căpăţîneni-Pămînteni is well worthwhile.

Just no - we would not stay here a second time
Last campsite on the south side of the Transfagarasan. Reception (at least in the off-season) was unattended. About 10 minutes after calling, an uninterested staff member came by, checked us in, and then left again. 100 Leu for 2 people, 1 camper, and a dog without electricity. We could not find any… More
