Last campsite on the south side of the Transfagarasan. Reception (at least in the off-season) was unattended. About 10 minutes after calling, an uninterested staff member came by, checked us in, and then left again. 100 Leu for 2 people, 1 camper, and a dog without electricity. We could not find any services for waste disposal, and inquiries were not possible. The Transfagarasan is a popular biker route. Therefore, it is to be suspected that our incident is not an isolated case: in the evening, a biker crew of about 15 people came to the site and celebrated very loudly until about 1 a.m. A phone complaint to the operator was unsuccessful, and when we tried to follow up, he no longer answered the phone. In the morning, one of the celebrators was lying in a sleeping bag on the lawn. Our recommendation: avoid this site and drive into the Transfagarasan - there are various possibilities for wild camping there - we also saw an official site across from a hotel on our way through.
