Further natural beauty awaits visitors in the Parc Naturel Regional de Brière, an extensive wildlife park located in the immediate vicinity of the Domaine de Pont Mahé campsite. Other excursion destinations include the beautiful town of Saint-Nazaire, which is also only around 30 kilometres away. History enthusiasts in particular can discover a variety of exciting monuments there, as the so-called Route Bleue runs along here, which is home to eleven megalithic monuments from prehistoric times. The Tumulus de Dissignac in particular is easily accessible from the campsite.
