nice place with direct access to the beach; perfect for coastal walks or visits to Saint Malo and Cancale (by bike about 30 mins) Campsites with sea views cannot be reserved, so just ask about availability upon arrival; friendly reception; grocery store with baguette and essentials available, but don’t come too late, as the baguette will be sold out strangely arranged (at least if you’re a woman) is the chemical toilet directly by the urinals without partition; disturbing for light sleepers at spots near the facilities which are cleaned daily punctually at 6:00 in the morning

Beautifully located and large parking spaces. We had a blue parking space with a wonderful view of the water. Enough showers and toilets, at least now in the off-season. Everything was quite clean. Due to the rain, it was difficult to keep the floors clean, but it was okay. Price-quality ratio is okay. Friendly reception and service. The small supermarket is a bit far away.

The location of the campsite is very nice. The beach too, but depending on the tides. Next to the campsite is a good restaurant with a fantastic terrace overlooking the sea and the sunset. The pitches are quite large, but only with electricity connection. Biking or using an e-scooter to get to the bakery is recommended. Nice walking or jogging paths. Not far from Saint Malo or Cancale. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were below average. Here, cleaning should be done more often during the high season.

Spacious plots, mostly shaded by old trees. Plots are increasingly being equipped with water and sewage. Good sanitary facilities with minor weaknesses, e.g. moisture damage on the suspended ceilings, which could easily be replaced. Characteristic of France, only the porcelain toilet bowls without lids and without toilet paper. Good snack bar on site, but a top restaurant next to the site on the beach.

The campsite has a great location to explore Saint-Malo, Cancale, and the surrounding area. We were lucky to choose a spot with a sea view. These spots cannot be reserved in advance. Initially, you are assigned a spot in the pink area without a sea view and can select a spot in the "non-reservable area" upon arrival, depending on availability. The additional 5€ per night was definitely worth it for the stunning view of both bays and the beautiful sunset! The beach is beautiful but, due to the large campsite and public parking areas, it is unfortunately also quite crowded (at least by Breton standards). The sanitary facilities were okay. Basic French fittings (no toilet seats, no toilet paper, no soap). During peak season, it was somewhat dirty. For a campsite in this price category, I expect a different standard.

The campsite is located on a peninsula and is surrounded by the sea on two sides. Bathing coves with beautiful sandy beaches and top water. That's why the coast is called the Emerald Coast. We had a nice spot with a view of both coves. Dogs are allowed (€2). We will come back.

Gastronomic offers
Situated between two bays on a small hill, Des Chevrets is the perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday in Brittany with the whole family. Beautiful excursions to neighbouring towns provide the necessary variety.
Camping Des Chevrets covers a very large area of 20 hectares with 250 pitches. The individual pitches are separated from each other by man-high hedges, ensuring plenty of privacy for holidaymakers. Campers can use WLAN free of charge at any time throughout the site. There are also facilities for doing laundry and shopping in a grocery shop. The campsite has its own beach, Chevrets Beach. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the Emerald Coast. This becomes particularly clear when you look down from the small hill onto the shimmering waters of the Atlantic and the fine sandy beach. In addition to a children's playground, the campsite also offers children's entertainment so that parents can switch off for a while. The highlight of the campsite for the little ones is certainly the petting zoo. Camping Des Chevrets is also ideally located for exploring the historic corsair town of Saint-Malo and its surroundings. The mighty city walls that surround the harbour town date back to the Middle Ages and offer a magnificent view of the coast. Other sights such as Le-Mont-Saint-Michel, a magnificent rocky island off the coast that is home to a monastery, as well as the medieval fortress of Dinan, will delight young and old alike.
