The area by the lake is covered with rows of tall deciduous trees and pines, while the other part is diversified by trees of varying heights, some arranged in groups, as well as hedges and bushes. At the end of the site, there is a small boat harbor in a water inlet that extends far into the area, next to which is a marina.
Approximately 150 meters long beach: small rocky sandy bay with an adjacent sunbathing lawn. Also popular is the natural, pleasant bathing area by the river.

October 2025
Camping Delta is very well maintained and resembles a large garden. In October, it was already quite tranquil, and the rental caravan was spacious and new. The shop was a bit pricey, and we didn't try the restaurant, but it always had many visitors. Overall, a very nice holiday with friendly fellow campers. The Italian-speaking woman at the reception could be a bit friendlier.

Actually, everything is really good: location, layout and size of the pitches, amenities, condition, cleanliness. What bothered me was the penetrating bass from music coming from a nearby bar, a constant wum wum wum all afternoon until late in the evening ...

June 2025
I have been traveling with a motorcycle and tent for over 25 years and have visited many campsites. But I've never experienced anything like this before! Motorcyclists are not allowed to ride onto the premises with their bikes. I had to load my luggage onto a cart and carry it on foot across the huge grounds to the tent area. Suggestions like temporarily opening a nearby gate or pushing the motorcycle were rejected. Behind this gate, huge luxury RVs were parked, which certainly didn’t come in through the main entrance. Cars and e-scooters move freely across the premises. This feels like clear discrimination against motorcycle travelers. The tent area was almost empty; still, no pragmatic solution was sought. For one night in a tent, I paid 84 francs without electricity. This campsite prioritizes profit over hospitality. I will never come back.

The location is extraordinarily beautiful by the lake. The paths for various activities are short, and it's also quick to reach the city. We found the staff to be friendly. However, the handling of the reservation fee and its non-refundability upon arrival should be reconsidered urgently. It is not very customer-friendly. The sanitary facilities and their cleanliness are top-notch. The beautiful beach, the sunbathing area, and the access to the Maggia Delta are absolute highlights. Our requests for changes to the booking before arrival were taken into account without hesitation (off-season). We would gladly come back.

We felt very comfortable during the low season. Ideal for all activities (cycling, paddling, swimming, hiking, city strolls). Everything modern and clean. No dogs around us (prohibited?). Not exactly cheap, but we will definitely come back.

I can understand that Camping Delta charges a reservation fee in advance and does not refund it in case of cancellation. But the fact that this fee paid during the reservation is not credited at the final settlement is questionable. A reservation fee at campsites is actually unusual.

Clean site with good lake access. Nice sanitary facilities. The fact that a departure token must be obtained before exiting for the paid spot leads to traffic jams when leaving. Unfortunately, the shop sells croissants from Saturday on Sunday.

We were there for a week in the off-season (from mid-August) at a site directly by the water. Most plots are sufficiently large and nicely located. New sanitary facilities, well-kept garden area, well-stocked supermarket and very helpful reception. Bus stop (free) right at the entrance. Private beach area and perfect location to explore Ascona and Locarno by bike or on foot. We would love to come back.
