Strandcamping Zuidduinen

Super convenient campground right in the dunes just behind the beach. The surroundings are really very, very beautiful. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not...very outdated. Little water runs for 5 minutes from the shower, then you have to wait about 5 minutes again. Mixed showers and toilets. The children's bathroom is a disaster. Too bad, otherwise the place would be fantastic. Reception, restaurant, and shop newly renovated and stylish, hopefully the sanitary building will follow soon.

We had a wonderful stay at one of the higher camping sites in the dunes. Everything was clean and we had a nice, cozy area to ourselves. The toilets and showers are constantly cleaned. However, it can be a bit dirtier during peak times, which is likely due to the behavior and conduct of the campers. Very friendly staff. We will come back! :o)

Great location to the beach and the town. Particularly positive: no dogs, and cars must park outside. Sanitary facilities dirty and obviously rarely cleaned, showers outdated, sinks clogged, despite Corona everything is close together in operation, in the Netherlands there are no precautions regarding Corona anyway. Aircraft noise intermittently disturbing, depending on wind direction and flight paths. Have never encountered so many unfriendly campers around us as here, regardless of nationality.

I lived for 3 months in a caravan at the campsite. At the end of this time, I was filmed by another guest while showering. The shower stalls are mixed, for men and women. They are already locked, but there is a gap below. This perverse person was able to reach his hand underneath to film me. A week before, the same man had also observed my girlfriend while she was showering. He had laid down on the floor and stretched his head underneath. The first reaction of the campsite staff was disturbing, as it was not empathetic at all. At first, I was not really believed, then I was told that the perpetrator was leaving anyway, and that the matter was basically settled. I was very upset and after a longer discussion, the campsite manager decided that we should call the police. He then did that. However, the perpetrator had already left. I think it is good that the police were called, but I am very disappointed that I was not shown any empathy and did not feel taken seriously at all. The safety of its guests should be the top priority for any campsite operator. Unfortunately, in my experience, this was not the case at this campsite.

A functional campsite directly on the dunes. Nice beach with guaranteed perfect sunset. Plots are marked only by number on the grassy areas, no subdivision by e.g. bushes or trees. Sanitary facilities are functional and clean. And now the catch. Only caravans/mobiles are allowed on the grounds. Cars must park in front of the campground. We are traveling with our V-Class with sleeping package and swivel seats (so a car and not a camper) and were not allowed on the site. The nice staff, however, was understanding and let us stay for one night.

It was just right for us. Would love to do it again!!!!!!!

Very nice place in the dunes. One can quickly reach the beach or the city and can also take beautiful walks in the dunes. It is quiet and very clean on the site itself. There are enough sanitary facilities available, which are in good condition. We would come back here anytime.

Great campsite. Very nice staff, clean site, regular cleaning of showers and toilets. However, no dogs allowed. A short walk from the car to the site. With a small kiosk offering fresh rolls and bread. Small restaurant. All in all, a nice place and super located. Many places reachable by bike.
