A lovely, friendly campsite with great facilities and a stunning environment. Nice indoor pool, good Wifi, beautiful camping spots and decent sanitary facilities. Pitch/Rental accommodation: spacious pitches with good drainage and level ground.
Although the sanitary facilities are cleaned four times a day, the toilets do not smell fresh. It might be worth washing the grouts well because the toilets themselves are not dirty. The outdoor pool is cramped and seems a bit dated. I would 'sacrifice' the swimming pond and expand the outdoor pool. Also, the heating system should be replaced with heat pumps.

The campsite is beautifully located and also offers a lot for families with children. The pitches themselves are also sufficiently large. However, one should avoid shopping at the campsite's supermarket. The prices there are totally outrageous (e.g., 1 liter of UHT milk for 2.49 EUR). The same unfortunately applies to the restaurant. We ordered beef fillet on a skewer with risotto and surf and turf, each for almost 25 EUR. What came was a joke in terms of portions. It would at most qualify as an appetizer. We felt truly ripped off, even though the taste was okay.

Friendly reception. Nice pitch and plenty of facilities for (young) children to play. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Normal location, sheltered so it's already sweltering in the tent in the morning. Additionally, electricity and water are available.
It would be nice if you could go from the indoor pool to the outdoor pool. Currently, they are two separate pools.

Overall, we were very satisfied!!! A well-kept site with many hidden spots and many bushes and trees as well as several playgrounds. The washrooms were cleaned regularly and the Wi-Fi reception was very (!) good. There is a shop on the site with shopping opportunities. It feels like over 99% of the campers come from the Netherlands, which shouldn’t stop you from visiting - they are very friendly and helpful! The size of the pitches can be limiting for long caravans. The orientation of the pitches is predetermined, so the vehicles often need to stand lengthwise on the "short" side of the pitch (as indicated in the booking information). The indoor pool was very (over) full during our visit. We felt it was unhygienic that there were only visible showers in the public indoor area, which were therefore only sparingly used. These few points of criticism should not be overestimated. It is especially a great campsite for families with children!

We visited a great campsite located in nature. For our son, 8 years old, there was nothing that could have been lacking. Mountain biking trails, football field, table tennis, various playgrounds, indoor and outdoor swimming pool each with a slide, etc. We were informed of opening times and deviations during check-in. Here too, the shortage of staff in gastronomy is noticeable, snack bar and restaurant were still open, and the store was open (during lunch break). The sanitary facilities were always clean and the staff polite and helpful. I cannot comment on power issues; it was always enough for our refrigerator and kettle. The only note: Although the site is not far from the German border, the proportion of German campers was under 10% at the time of our booking. It's good that children can also communicate with their hands!

Surrounded by dense woodland, where squirrels play in the trees and birdsong rings through the air, Camping De Wildhoeve impresses with its family-friendly and service-orientated concept. The attention to detail can be felt in many areas, from the creatively designed sanitary facilities for children to the large leisure area with pool, swimming pond and playground.
Many amenities characterise Camping De Wildhoeve in the Netherlands. The colourful sanitary facilities are particularly popular with families with younger children. The children will have just as much fun brushing their teeth as playing in the water playground, as the bathrooms have a forest theme and are decorated with artificial tree trunks, rocks and animal sculptures, for example. Thanks to the barrier-free sanitary facilities, nothing stands in the way of a holiday at the campsite with a pushchair, wheelchair or walking frame. Children can let off steam, play badminton and run around on the site, as cars only have access to the family-friendly holiday area on arrival and departure. The highlight of the 12-hectare campsite is the leisure area in the south-western part of the site. Here you will find the subtropical indoor swimming pool with slides and children's paddling pool as well as the bathing area with the outdoor water playground. All ball sports enthusiasts can play an exciting match on the tennis court, and all two-wheel specialists can prove their skills on the cyclo-cross track. From the end of March to the end of September, holidaymakers have the opportunity to spend their days off at Camping De Wildhoeve. The 320 parcelled pitches have electricity, fresh water and waste water connections, and there's no need to do without WLAN here either. There is a supermarket just a short walk from the mobile home, where fresh bread rolls are available daily. The on-site restaurant also serves delicious lunchtime and evening meals.
Together with the friendly entertainment team, young and young-at-heart guests can set off on interesting nature discoveries and learn interesting facts about the forests and their inhabitants in a fun way. The regular guided cycle tours through the vast forest landscape are also very popular. If you don't have a bike with you, you can easily hire one from reception. Both children's and adult bikes and child seats are available. Of course, nothing stands in the way of individual excursions from Camping De Wildhoeve. For example, a trip to the municipality of Epe, just 7 kilometres north-east of the campsite, is well worthwhile. A visit to Kasteel de Cannenburgh, a stately home with historic furnishings, is a must.
