We really liked the entire site. From arrival to departure, it was a completely successful stay. The dedicated app made traveling super convenient. No need to queue at the reception to enter. The license plate only had to be registered in the app, and entering the site was already possible. The site was very spacious on a large meadow. The site is divided into different areas. In each area, there is a small playground in the middle. Especially nice for children are the many playgrounds, water play areas, football fields, swimming pool, huge sand dune with great water play facilities, and the new indoor playground. A really great offering! The sanitary facilities are absolutely clean and sufficiently available.

September 2023
We took a short trip to De Paal (4 days). Campsites are spacious, wash houses modern and clean. However, in the colder seasons (September), they were cold, so the children had to pack up/dry off quickly after showering. Unfortunately, there are family cabins in the shower and washing area (which is completely separated from the toilet area in the building), but with just one shower and bath. This was not suitable for our showering children. The campsite has many and nice playgrounds as well as a great swimming pool - all clean as well. The only downside is the partially poor lighting of the walkways, where there were about 7cm deep potholes during our vacation. Here, both my wife and the children stumbled - so don’t forget a flashlight!

We booked a pitch with private sanitary in August ... so far, so good. The "bunker" has underfloor heating, but feels more like a 90s toilet - I won't even start on hygiene ... underground!! The site itself is very unkempt/natural and the paths to the pitches are made of sand with partially huge potholes, where a proper pond forms when it rains! The pitches are only secured with 6 Amperes, which is unfortunately not enough for induction hobs - but you can pay extra for Amperes at extortionate prices - which is already a disgrace when you're paying almost €1,300 for two weeks! Wi-Fi is paid and costs €10 per week per device. I cannot understand how this place has received such top ratings - never again!! There is really something offered here for children.

On our trip to Holland, we planned a few extra days at this campsite because the website looked so promising. "Best child camping in Holland" Well, we are very disappointed! Positive: + probably the largest sand playground there is + indoor and outdoor pools are great Negative: - playgrounds and water playground very unkempt and rather old - indoor playground only open from 2 PM to 5 PM! Really? - the indoor pool closes at 5 PM... - At the restaurant, we wanted to eat the first night at 7:15 PM... we sat there for 30 minutes, we were even served and given the menu... when after 30 minutes it was said the kitchen had been closed for almost 2 hours... On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the kitchen in the restaurant is completely closed. On other days only a few hours and at lunch, there are toasts, the lunch menu on the website only applies to the weekend. - Paid WIFI?! 14 Euros a day and 40 Euros a week? We had it included at the other sites... - the entrance road to the campsite has large potholes and absolutely needs to be repaired. We believe the website needs to be revised, and the operators should urgently visit other family campsites in Holland. Their family offerings are far better. The opening hours need to be reconsidered and the entire park could be tidier and cleaner. ADAC Super Camping 2023? Definitely not again!

We have been to this site three times now. The site offers everything one can imagine for families. For us, the swimming pool and the huge sand playground are an absolute highlight every time. Well maintained and great pitches. Anytime again.

We have been there several times since 2015 and are always excited again. The new indoor playground was the last thing that could have been missed. The swimming pool has been beautifully renovated, the private sanitary facilities were large and well-heated. The supermarket still has very fair prices and the restaurant lives up to its name. The children are simply super busy here, and so as parents, you are guaranteed a relaxing holiday.

I cannot understand some reviews. It is emphasized that one does not speak German or only broken English. Well, that is because: One is not in Germany. But let's talk about the great campsite near Eindhoven. This campsite has everything a great camping site needs. The leisure offerings are enormous. It starts with the outdoor pool with many slides and an indoor pool, and it ends with the fact that there is almost a small playground at every pitch. The pitches are beautifully laid out. You feel like you are right in the forest, even though it is not really the case. A huge dune landscape is part of the campsite. And huge is not an understatement. Within this "desert," there are numerous water playgrounds. If you have children, this is the perfect place for you. But those seeking peace will also get their money’s worth. This site is extremely quiet despite the many children.
