👍 A calm campsite situated in nature, very pleasant and close to various places to visit. Location/Rental accommodation: A warm welcome from the campground team, with a site near the pond offering a stunning view in the morning.

The strength of this place is its quiet location. In a hot summer, the shady forest surroundings may be an advantage; in this rainy summer, it was not so. The site owners are very helpful. The showers and toilets are located in the outdoor area of the sanitary building, which can be very airy and cool. It takes a long time for hot water to come to the sinks and for the laundry. There is no toilet paper.

Clear and tidy campsite located directly by a reservoir. Some cabins are only 5 m from the water's edge, where fishermen can usually be found, while swimming is not very suitable there. The sanitary facilities are well-kept and mostly clean, but a bit outdated. There is a swimming pool on the campsite with two small pools, one for non-swimmers and one for swimmers (water depth 1.5 m). In addition, there is a small snack bar run by the campsite owners, where warm meals can be obtained for lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and ice cream in between. About 200 m away, a public bathing area with picnic tables and pedal boat rental, also operated by the campsite owners, is located about a 5-minute walk away. It can get quite crowded here on hotter days, but it is still pleasant and not too overcrowded. The campsite owners are a nice couple (Christophe and Valérie), who with the help of their children (these and their friends, who sometimes work at the campsite, speak English) always have an open ear for all concerns. We rented a small log cabin, which met the demands of a family of five despite the little space, although there was a bit too little cutlery. Otherwise, we can only recommend the campsite for families with children, as there are plenty of activities available (playground, volleyball court, trampoline, game room with arcade machines and internet WiFi access, table tennis tables), as well as the surrounding area suitable for smaller walks or explorations. It is worth mentioning that the reservoir is located on a mountain ridge, and as a result, it gets significantly cooler at night than down in the valley. The nearest supermarket, bakery, butcher shop, and gas station are about 4 km away.
