Natural site on both sides of a busy road (pedestrian tunnel available). The upper area is partly slightly sloping with deciduous and coniferous trees, partly steeper, terraced slope. Below the road, there is level grass and sandy terrain with shrubs and medium-height trees.
About 250 m long and 20 m wide sandy beach divided by three breakwaters.

A fairly natural place with comfort. Campsites on the seaside in many sizes, sometimes separated, sometimes not, I did not visit the forest side on the other side of the street. Can be reached on foot via the road tunnel. The busy road quickly fades into the background, not disturbing for us, the only noticeable thing are the ' mopeds' of some posers, as they are loud. Super beach. For all campers with tandem axles, these will not be accepted, according to the notice.

We left the campsite earlier at our own expense. The pitch itself was fine, but with the road, any relaxation is out of the question. Those who think the road gets quieter late in the evening will be disappointed. The road is busy all night, very annoying, it's not possible to sleep here at all. The sanitary facilities are very run-down, there is neither soap, nor toilet paper, nor a holder for your own roll. Cleaning seems to be a rare occurrence as well. The water pressure of the showers is very weak, while at the sink it is too strong, causing the toothpaste to fly off the toothbrush. There is the opportunity to shop, the store is quite nice, at prices one would expect at a campsite. The 'beach' is rather dirty and more than 30 people have no space here, you lie blanket to blanket.

The site is beautifully located directly at the bay of Saint Tropez and has direct access to the sandy beach. The pitches are very large, straight, and partly shaded. The staff is exceptionally helpful and very nice. Contrary to the photos, there is NO pool on the site. What really bothered me about the site was the condition of the sanitary facilities. While the setup of the new upper part of the site was always maintained and clean, this was definitely not the case in the lower part of the main building. The showers and wash cabins were at most okay, but the toilets were sometimes in an unbearable state. Especially the women's toilets. They were hardly cleaned, which was noticeable among other things due to a roll of toilet paper lying on the floor that was not removed for two days, although that was still the lesser problem (we will spare further details at this point). Such a shame.

We really liked the place as such. The large pitch and proximity to the sea were really nice. The nearby towns were also easily accessible by bike. We liked the sanitary facilities and local supplies. The reservation process was a bit puzzling for us as it was not conclusive.

We were at this campsite in August. The sanitation facilities have seen better days. It rained during our stay and some of the sink basins are not covered, which means you have to wash with an umbrella. The waiting time at check-in and check-out was the longest we have experienced in 10 years of camping - over 1 hour. However, the lady was very friendly. We were directly on the beach at the very nice spot 13 with a sea view, and here we encountered an unpleasant surprise in the form of an arrogant and shameless reception committee of 3 German retirees who have been spending their holidays there in the second row for 30 years (spots 6, 4, etc.) and want to enforce their own rules. Since there is "too much sand" on the beach, they prefer the second, cheaper row. Nevertheless, they want a sea view and think they can dictate how the RVs in the entire first row in front of them should be positioned. One of the ladies even parked her 7-meter caravan sideways so that all those behind her can only see the back wall. The statement was "people from the second row do not want a view of the sea". We stood with our small RV in front of the sanitation facilities, and our reception committee wasn't even standing behind us! Just ignore them, park however you want or as space permits, and don't let this affect your stay. The three will eventually leave!

The campsite is conveniently located in the beautiful little place Port Grimaud. By bike (ample bike paths available), one can easily reach Sante Maxime, St. Tropez, as well as many other lovely places in the area. The campsite is divided into two parts by a main road. One part is directly by the beach with a supermarket and restaurant, while the other side is nicely situated under pine trees in a wooded area. Both parts are connected by an underpass. It should be noted that the roads on the Côte d'Azur are very busy in the warm summer months. Therefore, car noises are somewhat unavoidable. Those who prefer a quieter spot should choose a nice little area in the upper part of the pine trees on the wooded side. There are sufficient sanitary buildings that are regularly cleaned. We spontaneously got a spot in September and were even able to extend our stay on short notice. The reception was always helpful and friendly. We are very happy to come back.
