👍 The campsite is calm, very shaded, and beautifully landscaped. The sanitary facilities are impeccable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The beach is very close, and you can reach it on foot. The accommodation options are very nice, and the tent pitches are spacious. Access to the barbecues is greatly appreciated. A small park for young children was also highly appreciated. Location/Rental accommodation: The coco suite lodging is very nice (and under the trees, the temperature remains pleasant even in hot weather) and the terrace allows for very enjoyable meal times. In case of rain, eating inside would be quite complicated due to the limited space, but still possible. The rental is well-equipped with dishes. There is only one electric hotplate for cooking, but there wouldn't be room for a larger one.

Cozy campsite, very clean. In a beautiful setting, not far from the beach. Pitch/Rental accommodation: caravan pitch, bordered by trees and bushes. Very natural.

The campsite is quiet, located near beautiful beaches and charming villages. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The owner is very friendly. We stayed for six nights but actually would have liked to stay for two weeks. This campsite and the island are highly recommended. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Very spacious spot, we had a large tent along with three smaller tents, and there was still plenty of room. With shade and sun.

There is no restriction for cars entering the premises, which means that people can come and go until late at night.

Pros

The C. site is quite clear and well located for cycling trips to, for example, St. Vaast/Tatihou, Gatteville Lighthouse or Barfleur in the other direction, Cherbourg to the Val de Moulins with a beautiful viaduct or Lighthouse Levi, a few meters further an old fort from Napoleon's time. Those interested in WWII can find much here, as there are many old bunkers, etc. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The sanitary facilities were kept clean and were okay. The site itself was fairly quiet and clean. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the sea.
