The place Ijmuiden is amazing, there is so much to see...the largest locks in the world, old bunkers, the national park, lighthouses, a beautiful fishing harbor, cruise ships, and the beach is huge and very clean. From there, you can easily access everywhere, whether Amsterdam, or the great market in Beverwijk, Alkmaar, Hoorn, The Hague, Rotterdam, Zandvoort, Wijk aan Zee, Egmond, etc. The area is clean, large, and family-friendly. The owners are great and very helpful, there is an excellent snack restaurant and a small shop. For us, it is the most beautiful campsite and place overall.

Well-located campsite directly in the dunes. The pitches are all very level and suitable for all types of camping. Zandvoort can be reached by bicycle in about 20 km, and Amsterdam can be reached by train in about 30 minutes. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back.
