In an idyllic green setting between the Arroux and its tributary the Ternin, Camping d'Autun invites you to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in the east of France. The family-friendly campsite is located north of the small town of Autun with its medieval alleyways and the monumental Saint-Lazare cathedral. Archaeological sites such as the Roman theatre and the Porte d'Arroux city gate are reminders that the town was an important city in Roman Gaul in ancient times. After a sightseeing tour, the quiet campsite with mobile homes and a flat meadow area with pitches for caravans and motorhomes surrounded by tall deciduous trees is ideal for relaxing. Leisure activities include a children's playground, a relaxation room with TV and table football as well as pétanque, table tennis and volleyball facilities.

A beautiful quiet campsite. With a pleasant size and plenty of space on the individual pitches. The sanitary building is clean and in good condition. At the reception, you are warmly welcomed and well served.

Too far away from the location on foot. Beautiful green shady spots. Sanitary facilities are old but well-maintained. No gastronomy at the site in October.

I received a prompt call back to my email inquiry for a reservation for the next day. Communication in English was excellent, allowing us to arrive without complications the following day. The site is divided into two areas: a meadow with tall trees and an area with pitches separated by hedges. Electricity is available everywhere and close to the pitches. The sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned daily. Bread and baguettes can be pre-ordered. The service was very good and friendly. By car, you can reach the center of Autun in ten minutes, and parking is affordable. The Friday market in the center is worth a visit. Overall: recommended.

We were just passing through this place. Very beautifully situated in an idyllic and quiet spot. Spacious areas with sun and also old trees. Free choice of pitch. Very friendly staff – run by young people. A lovingly created small children's playground. Baguette or bread service can still be booked on late arrival. There is a small selection of everyday items at the site that you might have forgotten to bring. Loan of power cables, use of a clothesline for everyone. Very attentive site run with dedication. It is an excellent place to unwind, read a book, and enjoy peace. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night. Bathroom facilities nothing to complain about. Clear recommendation to stay there.

Quiet place with a small stream (behind the fence), where my dog likes to swim. I always stay there for a few days during my trips to Spain, so in April and on the way back in May. The lady at the reception is very friendly and speaks good English. Unfortunately, the showers are always a bit too hot for me :D
