Long stretch of meadows and dunes. The part of the campsite facing the sea is divided by a wall covered with reeds and bushes into areas for tents and for caravans and motorhomes. On the land side, there are pitches for tents under medium-high deciduous trees.
Access the approximately 100 m long and 50 m wide sandy beach via a wooden footbridge over the dunes.
Separate parking for cars is only available for part of the campsite.

The campsite is beautifully located. Right behind the dunes by the sea. There is a supermarket with a bread roll service. Plotted pitches - a bit close to each other. The place is managed a bit indifferently. Those looking for modern sanitary facilities are in the wrong place. But wonderful for long walks on the beach.

The location is wonderful: just walk over a small dune and the endlessly wide empty Atlantic beach is right there. Sanitary facilities always clean, hot free showers, overall simple, but one of the best we have encountered in Portugal. Friendly reception, small supermarket on site. Everything else is in Costa Nova about 1km away with numerous restaurants etc. Dogs allowed.

The location with direct access to the beautiful beach is really very good. We also found the site condition with green grass in mid-May great. However, we experienced the sanitary facilities as extremely poor. Despite fairly full occupancy, only one of three sanitary buildings was open. There was only warm water for showers (which was too hot and not adjustable). Water pressure was barely present. The facilities are already older, but above all, poorly maintained. There is no toilet paper. A dispenser labeled disinfectant was available, but it could have contained soap. In the men's room, the container was also empty. All in all, the worst sanitary facilities we have experienced on our eight-week trip so far. We found Costa Nova and Alveiro absolutely worth seeing.
