Camping Coimbrão

Here you are warmly welcomed by Claudia and Waldemar, the German campsite owners. The campsite has been around for about 25 years and there are many regular guests, even for wintering. Claudia is happy to help with problems of any kind. Coimbrão has a village character. There are two small traditional shops on-site with a simple selection and two typical cafés. Supermarkets like Lidl, Continente, and Intermarche, as well as the nearby Atlantic Ocean, are easily accessible by e-bike. The area invites for hiking and cycling. There are washing machines and a roll service.

Very friendly reception, the site is very well maintained and wonderfully located. The sanitary facilities are top-notch. A bread roll service is also offered. The sea is not far away and other attractions are also quickly reachable by car. We would love to come back.

Personal and warm welcome by Claudia (owner) The idyllic campsite has everything we expect: very clean sanitary facilities including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, and warm water for everything. Unfortunately, this is not the case at every campsite. The pitches are spacious and level. You can take bike trips to the coast. You can order rolls from Claudia until the evening before. She is always there for you if you have questions. We recommend this campsite 100%. We had planned to stay for 2 nights, but it turned into 6 nights. We felt very comfortable.

Small quiet place with great sanitary facilities and swimming pool. A few kilometers to the sea with great sandy beaches. Supply and disposal for the motorhome on the site. Highly recommended!

We are now at Claudia and Waldemar's campsite for the 5th time. It is clean and well-maintained and has a good location. There are shopping possibilities in the small village of Coimbrao and the surrounding area is great for cycling. The beautiful beach is also reachable by bike. We are here this winter for 3 months and will definitely come back.

We have been here more often since 2015. Very nice care. Clean sanitary facilities, large shady and sunny spots on grass for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. Seating areas by the pool and in the shade in front of the house. Small playground. The location is convenient for beach visits (6 km) in Pedrogão, advantages: The morning mist from the Atlantic clears up noticeably earlier (2-3 hours) than in Pedrogão. Beach accessible by bicycle. Shopping in the village or in the larger Vieira (5 km). Excursions are easy to undertake due to the proximity to the highway: Bussaco, Alcobaca, Nazaré, and many more. Claudia and Waldemar are happy to advise. The campsite is located in a village, which means one should expect noise from dogs, roosters, etc. Always better than construction noise or highway! We enjoy the peace. It's nice to watch the birds.

Claudia, the charming boss, greets me cheerfully in Bavarian with a glance at my Swiss license plate. In the elegant lounge, at Convivio, I taste a cool white port wine. A paradise-like little campsite, 6 km inland from the coast. Green meadow under well-maintained deciduous trees, pool, blooming rose bushes by the water taps, functional and spotlessly clean sanitary facilities. In the fragrant herb garden, I may help myself. I would very much like to stay for several days and can take a day trip to visit the massive sandy beaches on the Atlantic and the sights of Tomar, Coimbra, and Batalha all around. Wonderful!
