The Mahana camping club in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez offers double the bathing fun: It borders directly on the dream beach of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez on the Côte de Lumière in the Vendée. Surfing and other water sports courses are organised on the beach. As an alternative to a dip in the refreshing Atlantic Ocean, there is a covered and heated swimming pool. Aquafitness courses are organised regularly in summer. There is also a paddling pool for children. The campsite in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez has a lively atmosphere in July and August, when fun entertainers organise pétanque tournaments, excursions and a kids' club. The luxurious campsite has a games room with table football, air hockey, pinball and other games. Bicycles can also be hired on site.

Value for money is right. Simple but clean. Sanitary facilities a bit plain. Pool is OK. No frills. More suited for the older crowd in terms of fun factor.
