The campsite is situated in a beautiful location. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The food at the Fischerhaus was tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately, the rolls from the kiosk were only reheated and therefore, in my opinion, overpriced. On one day they were particularly hard and dry, which is why from the fourth day on, we preferred to heat our own rolls. However, the feedback about the hard rolls was received kindly and we got two free rolls as compensation. The water at the wash basins was only lukewarm, but the shower water was always nicely hot. What I find unfortunate is that there are no pitches by the lake and a large part of the campsite is allocated to permanent campers.

The location is okay, but there was one morning without electricity, it takes a long time for hot water to arrive, there is no mobile network, Wi-Fi is rare, and everything seems a bit outdated.

A small, well-organized campsite, very clean and quite peaceful despite the road. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the sanitary facilities are modern and very clean. We appreciated that they are checked multiple times a day. One minor aspect that didn’t quite convince us was the food at the restaurant, but that is a matter of taste and does not change our opinion: we will definitely return.

A very nice location in the Pfalz, "in the middle" of the forest, but the forest does not restrict sunlight. The site is beautifully divided by a stream flowing through it. Located directly by the lake. Includes a restaurant with an outdoor area. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The sinks could heat water a bit faster; you have to let it run for a long time. But apart from that, there is absolutely nothing to complain about!!! We will be returning again next week. ;-)

The staff was very friendly, the check-in process and site allocation went smoothly. The food at the Fischerhaus was delicious, and the sanitary facilities were always clean. The price for a comfort site with water, electricity, and wastewater disposal was perfectly reasonable. The weekend at the Waldfischbach-Bergenalben campsite was, as I mentioned earlier, really nice and a great place to relax. Therefore, I highly recommend this site 🤝.

In the heart of the idyllic Palatinate Forest, the Clausensee campsite invites you to enjoy a holiday in beautiful natural surroundings. Thanks to its location right next to a clear bathing lake, the campsite is perfect for water lovers. The youngest guests will also enjoy the adventure playground and the varied programme during the holidays.
The pitches at the barrier-free Clausensee campsite near Waldfischbach-Burgalben in the South West Palatinate are nestled between a dense forest and a picturesque bathing lake. The comfort pitches offer electricity as well as fresh water and waste water connections. Guests can decide whether they want to pitch their tent directly by the lake or by the babbling brook. Dogs are welcome at the campsite and can refresh themselves in the stream. The friendly team also offers a bread roll service. A full breakfast is also available in the restaurant on request. The umbrella bar with beer garden serves Palatinate specialities, tarte flambée and many other delicacies. There is also a bistro and a rustic pub on the campsite. The approx. 4 hectare bathing lake directly on the campsite is ideal for cooling off. Thanks to the gently sloping shore, even the youngest children will feel at home. There is also a pedal boat hire service. Families love meeting up in the playground, where the little ones can let off steam on the climbing frames and slides. The campsite is also an insider tip for anglers: you can buy a daily or weekly ticket at reception and fish trout, carp and pike from the lake.
