Camping Ciudad de Albarracin
Campsite Overview

Campsite Intro
About
Camping Ciudad de Albarracin is located in the middle of the Aragonese mountains at an altitude of 1,160 metres above sea level. The campsite is surrounded by striking peaks and numerous coniferous and deciduous trees, which provide valuable shade in the summer months. From here, holidaymakers can set off on long hikes or visit the outdoor pool just 100 metres away. There is a snack bar and a kiosk on the campsite itself. The nearest restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. In the region, we recommend taking a walk to the nearby small town of Albarracin, which is famous for its historic centre with its winding alleyways and offers visitors a variety of photo opportunities.

Great campsite where everything is just right, the location is unique, beautiful view, many trees, quiet, friendly reception, the sanitary facilities are top-notch, and the food in the restaurant was very good. What I missed was a small grocery store. However, rolls can be ordered.

We stayed for 2 days at the campsite located in a picturesque, mountainous area at the end of May during a tour of Spain. Arrival around noon - it's convenient that the reception is open all day. The campsite was already quite busy. We settled in the lower part of the site. A part of the site that has apparently been newly laid out (or renewed?) on a plateau offers a very nice view, but the young trees barely cast any shade yet. The sanitary facilities seemed freshly renovated - impeccably clean. The historical, Moorish town of Albarracin (chosen by Spaniards as the prettiest small town in the country) with its narrow, winding alleys and its mighty city wall is definitely worth a visit - that's why people come here. Regarding the campsite's own (!!) restaurant: We chose a mixed salad with grilled sheep cheese as a starter (1 portion is enough for 2 people) and then decided on the lamb shanks. I've rarely had both served so perfectly - especially not in a camping restaurant. Huge praise. You also don't have to wait until the Spaniard gets hungry - German meal times are catered to. Conclusion: Completely satisfied.

We (a family with two children aged two years) were warmly welcomed! The site offers larger (a bit further from the sanitation building) and smaller pitches, which can be chosen by ourselves. In the restaurant, everything is delicious, but especially the steaks are superb! Our children were spoiled with warmth, and it was also a great stay for us! The small playground could use some new sand, but it's enough to bridge some time! The sanitation facilities are clean, and the entire facility is as well! The local swimming pool is five minutes on foot and costs €1 when buying tickets at the campsite!
