Campofelice Camping Village

Located on the north-eastern shore of Lake Maggiore, the 5-star Campofelice Camping Village is ideal for families with children and active holidaymakers. Just a few kilometres from the town of Locarno, the holiday resort boasts its own beach, a harbour and a wide range of restaurants.

Pure sunshine or a shady spot under the canopy of trees: holidaymakers are free to choose which pitch they prefer. There are 611 guest pitches for caravans and motorhomes in the Campofelice Camping Village, all of which have WLAN and an electricity connection. Drinking water and waste water connections are also standard on around 400 of the pitches, which are between 90 m² and 120 m² in size. Those travelling without a caravan or tent are welcome to rent a caravan on site or stay in one of the cosy bungalows. The campsite is ideal for those allergic to dogs, as dogs are not permitted at Campofelice Camping Village in the Swiss municipality of Tenero. There is also no shortage of services and leisure facilities. The supermarket, for example, is open every day and offers a wide range of goods. Anyone who wants to leave the kitchen cold can simply order a snack at the Robin Bistrot-Café. The homemade ice cream specialities are just as popular as the hot snacks. If you fancy a little more, we recommend the restaurant. Italian specialities are on the menu here. For all active holidaymakers, the Beach Office is the first port of call. Stand-up paddle equipment (SUP) and canoes as well as inflatable and pedal boats can be hired here. There are also several sports fields in the area, including a beach volleyball court, a mini golf course and football pitches.

Early morning sports, daytime entertainment and evening parties

The Campofelice Camping Village is a lively and informal place. The numerous fitness courses offered in the outdoor area are a little sweaty, but beneficial. The children's entertainment programme is creative, exciting and above all entertaining, and the large, airy pavilion is used for all kinds of leisure activities such as circus shows or evening theme parties. For art lovers and those who want to do a bit of shopping, a trip to the city of Locarno is well worthwhile. Around half a dozen art galleries can be found in this attractive town. Nature lovers will love the Falconeria Locarno falconry park, while keen golfers can improve their handicap on the nearby course at the Golf Club Patriziale Ascona.
