Camping Club La Côte des Roses - MS Vacances

A staff member ran over our child with a golf cart on the grounds of the stage during the evening program. There was police and ambulance involvement. No one from the site apologized to us for this incident. On the day of our departure, they accused us, saying that the child had run into the driver, and he couldn’t help it. The staff constantly drive quickly past the entrance of the children's area with their phones on the steering wheel. We cannot recommend this site as safe for children!

We can definitely not recommend this place. It was, as so often at camping sites during the high season, loud until midnight. We also had a problem with the electricity, and we were advised to leave if we didn’t like it. Of course, we wouldn’t receive any refund. Only after insistence and at the manager's instruction could the problem finally be resolved. The sanitary facilities were awful and more like a festival level. Old lime deposits confirmed the first impression that it was old dirt and impurities. For this reason, we left earlier. Many vacant spots in the middle of high season confirmed for us that this cannot be a good place. One staff member at the reception was very friendly, while I wouldn’t lift a finger for another one.

👍 Beautiful area. Lots to do, although quite touristy. Pitch/Accommodation: A perfect spot at the edge of the campsite. Far enough away from the animation and evening shows. 👎 The animation (which we never use, by the way) is only in French.

👎 When the campsite is fully booked, the booking date is automatically shifted to the next available date. SO BE CAREFUL WITH ONLINE BOOKING. Pitch/Rental accommodation: We weren’t there. We couldn’t assess the sites rated with 5 stars, but we have to provide a review since it is a required field. 👎 If you mistakenly book, changing it incurs immediate fees. In the case of a cancellation, all possible measures are taken to complicate your refund. I had to submit a written confirmation from my bank that I am the account holder. Pitch/Rental accommodation: communication with guests and especially the ability to change booking details independently.

👍 The beautiful large pitches Pitch/Rental accommodation: A lovely spot large enough for a car, caravan, and awning. 👎 No toilet paper available. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Few power connections, some are broken.

👍 The caravan has a large porch. The campsite is clean and has a cozy little square. Pitch/Accommodation: Large porch and well laid out. 👎 The beach is further away than described, and there are no sunbeds or beach tents on the beach. Pitch/Accommodation: Few power outlets and no sun-blocking roller blinds.
