Camping Cala Ginepro

Disaster! There were ants everywhere! The mini-market is making a killing with anti-ant products. All campers and caravans were sprayed with repellent powder that you obviously have to buy at ridiculously high prices. No one informed us, and we woke up at night to find hundreds of thousands of ants in the caravan crawling over our faces. In 35 years of camping across Europe, I have never experienced anything like this. The reception simply shrugged. Quote: "That's nature." We wanted to leave but wouldn’t get any money back. So we spent the day hunting ants with chemicals. Otherwise: incredibly loud entertainment until midnight, the beach was totally overcrowded, garbage floats at the water entrance. Out of 7 campsites in 4 weeks in Sardinia, this was the ABSOLUTE worst place. Such a shame, especially at the end of the holiday.

Actually a great place with a few shortcomings. I can basically agree with the positive comments. Nice shady and sufficiently large pitches. Great beach. Everything you need is there. Very clean and new(!) sanitary facilities. Negative points: - Temperature in the shower not adjustable (cold when it's cloudy!) - Only cold water for rinsing - The market is way too small for the number of campers (long lines in the morning) - Lots of ants!!! (Bring powder or buy it in the market)

According to the rules of the campsite, dogs up to 40 cm are allowed. We were firmly turned away with our dog measuring 42 cm (13 kg). Our dog is 13 years old and has not barked at all in the last two weeks. A small bark would have been acceptable. Incredible! The assessment took place without further consideration of the place, as we were unable to do so.

Very clean, nicely located right on the beach, but loud animation from the neighboring club hotel.

Wonderful campsite with many trees providing pleasant shade. Very family-friendly, new beautiful toilet facilities and friendly staff. Beach directly accessible from the campsite, nice soft sand. Slightly sloping and great for young children.

Great place. We extended our stay and stayed longer. We got a nice and quiet spot. The car was parked not far away in one of the many parking spaces. The sanitary facilities were clean and sufficient - separated by gender. Restaurant is recommended!! The shop is also fine. The staff is very friendly and nice.

The campsite was simply wonderful! We are used to a lot and have seen many campsites. The rating by ADAC is a mystery to us. Almost everything is available and it's top-notch. The staff are all very friendly. This may be because we speak Italian. Free choice of location with nice staff, helpful and friendly receptionists, a slightly smaller shop and a pizzeria where you can eat well. The beaches are beautiful and dogs are allowed to run on the beach as well. The only critical point would be to note that the water in the showers is not really warm. This despite the fact that the sanitary facilities are ultra-modern. The ecological orientation (no extremists, but controlled waste separation) was also appreciated.

Well-kept place, everything you need is exemplary.
