Häppy Life - Mosel Camping Burgen

The place is completely overcrowded down to the last corner, too few sanitary facilities for the number of people, overall too expensive, everything must be paid for separately, not clean, the pool water was cloudy with debris on the bottom, many guests wanted to leave on the first day already, all in all not recommended.

The formerly quiet and friendly spot has been revamped by the new operator. Every evening from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM there's "music to the ears" from a large speaker. The sanitary facilities were often in a very poor condition, with food scraps everywhere, and wastewater sometimes not even drained. The presence of the permanently camping family clan has already been extensively described in other reviews. My complaints about the thumping bass and requests for evening peace were not heard by the operator, we ended our vacation after a few days and moved the caravan to a nice and quiet location. What a shame for this spot, for us no "Happy life".

Everything is very well organized. The booking, payment, and the entire stay, everything was perfect. We enjoyed it a lot. The small supermarket has everything you need. The location by the Moselle is indescribably beautiful, and we could even swim. In the evenings, there were the smoked trout from our own farm, very tasty :) We would happily go back there.

This is our first time here at the campsite and we are super satisfied 👍 The whole campsite and also the dog areas are very clean and well maintained. Super gastro, and VinoBar😉

That was it for the once beautiful campsite. The new operator leaves everything in a mess. We were at the campsite in May 2025. There, clan big families as permanent campers now dictate the scene. The children of the clan race around the place on e-scooters without regard, while the adults smoke in the sanitary facilities, and if you say something, you get heavily attacked. Loud music is played all day long. The operator doesn't seem to care, as long as the money is right. There is not much to see in terms of cleanliness in the sanitary facilities. The prices for overnight stays are clearly at the upper limit, and there are an additional 5 euros for electricity and another 4 euros for trash added per day. Prices in the campsite bar and shop have also risen sharply. We will not be coming back.

What is special about this place is the wonderful location - unfortunately, the place has little else to offer. On the recommendation of friends, we had booked for Father's Day and were aware that it would be very crowded. We stood near the toilets and it was a disgrace. There is a large family in the immediate vicinity of the showers that behaves absolutely inappropriately and even smokes in the toilets. Complaints are ignored. Through conversations with other campers, the miserable condition was confirmed - apparently, it was much better there years ago - once and never again.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The family groups have no manners towards the other campers, smoking in the sanitary facilities has apparently also become normal! It has become very loud at this site! Nighttime quiet is no longer respected. I believe the owner is doing nothing about it. Despite complaints. Very sad for this place.
