We had a lovely stay at the campground - the location is truly top-notch! Right by the swimming lake, with a restaurant and kiosk in close proximity, so you have all the necessities on site. Ideal for relaxation and for families. Unfortunately, there are also a few points of criticism: The sanitary facilities are noticeably outdated and could use a renovation. Additionally, we found the electricity quite expensive compared to other places. What bothered us the most, however, was the unfriendly reception at the front desk. Especially at check-in, we would have appreciated a bit more friendliness and willingness to help - this doesn't match the otherwise pleasant overall impression of the campground. Nevertheless: Those who can overlook minor flaws will find here a beautiful place to camp with good infrastructure and a great location.

clean sanitary facilities, shower costs €0.50, it's okay. What I didn't like was the much too small dog beach. Mini beer garden at the snack/shop could be better maintained and should be designed to be more inviting and well-kept.

We have been coming here for years, everything just fits. Dream location right by the lake, friendly staff, kiosk for minor and major emergencies. Great playground for the kids and the dog also has its own beach access.

Great lake, very nice pitches arranged in terraces, often with a view over the lake. Beautiful landscape around the campsite. Very quiet location, very good restaurant directly at the site, great and clean sanitary facilities, unbeatable friendly staff at the reception. With requests for changes of pitch, the wishes of the guest were fulfilled with great patience and time. We had very nice days here. We will gladly come back. Thank you!

This campsite was spontaneously accessed and we were warmly welcomed by the staff and received a suitable spot for our two motorhomes on the terraced pitches. Thus, we had a wonderful view of the lake all the way to the Alpine panorama. The beach belonging to the campsite offers not only swimming opportunities, but also play areas for the kids. A small shop with a bread roll service, the Brugger Hütte with delicious food, supply and disposal facilities, clean sanitary facilities, everything that a camper's heart desires is available. And always remember, motorhome drivers greet each other.

As if the Tölz mountains and the peaks of the Ammergau Alps didn't already exude enough magic, you can even see the pyramid-shaped Alpspitze and the mighty Zugspitze in the Wetterstein mountains from Camping Brugger am Riegsee. The well-kept campsite in Spatzenhausen in Upper Bavaria is located directly on a bathing lake and offers families with children, couples and campers with dogs a peaceful holiday close to nature from spring to autumn.
The picturesque view of the Alps is the special trump card of Camping Brugger am Riegsee. Surrounded by meadows, the terraced campsite also impresses with its location right by the water. Lake Riegsee is considered one of the warmest and cleanest lakes in Bavaria and offers plenty of bathing fun for young and old. Children can look forward to a playground and a creative workshop with a varied programme. There are fishing opportunities and a surfing and sailing school close to the six-hectare camping site. Holiday guests can hire a pedalo, play volleyball or simply relax with a book from the campsite's own library on the large sunbathing lawn. The peaceful atmosphere is livened up by barbecues and picnics around the campfire. In addition to the tent pitches on a plateau by the beach and 320 permanent camping pitches, Camping Brugger am Riegsee has 140 pitches for motorhomes and caravans, 74 of which are parcelled out. They are between 65 and 100 square metres in size and some have direct water connections and TV satellite dishes. Modern hot water sanitary facilities including a baby changing room, a camping supermarket and WLAN ensure comfort. The Brugger Hütte restaurant delights guests with a panoramic lakeside terrace and both Alpine and international dishes. Dogs are also welcome at the Brugger am Riegsee campsite. There is also a dog bathing area not far from the site.
The region around Camping Brugger am Riegsee is also known as the Blue Land. The name goes back to the artist movement Der Blaue Reiter. The world-famous expressionist painters Franz Marc and Wassily Kandinsky found inspiration for their works in the blue light moods of the Upper Bavarian Alpine foothills. Some of them are on display in the castle museum in Murnau am Staffelsee. The market town also enchants visitors with its traditional and imaginatively designed Biedermeier-style houses and invites you to take a leisurely stroll through its studios, cafés and shops. A hike through the species-rich Murnauer Moos and along the roaring waters of the Partnachklamm gorge is a real nature experience. A trip to the Glentleiten open-air museum, the largest farming village museum in southern Bavaria, is also worthwhile.
