The place is pleasantly quiet and offers many opportunities for walking and hiking. It is very dog-friendly here. Currently, there are still renovation works, but the sanitary facilities are in good condition.

We stayed at this campsite for a weekend trip to Sauerland. Although all the caravan pitches were already booked out, we were offered to stay on the newly gravelled motorhome pitch. The team is very warm and has many ambitions to beautify and improve the campsite. We wish the new owner much success in this. We will definitely come back to see the results, as the campsite will surely see us again. The site was very quiet from about 9:00 PM. You could hear the stream running through the campsite and otherwise only the chirping of birds. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities have not yet been renewed, so we are currently only giving 4 stars. They are clean, the paper was always replenished promptly and the wastepaper baskets emptied. On the other hand, the rooms are quite dark and in one of the 3 or 4 men's showers the water pressure was very low. Once the rooms have been renovated, it will definitely be a smooth 5 stars. The local baker is about a 7-10 minute walk away and makes delicious and large rolls. (Currently 1.52€ for 4 pieces.) You can explore the surrounding area very well on foot, and even as a cyclist, it seems there are many opportunities here. Even the Bruchhauser stones are just a short hike of about 60 minutes away. So if you come to hike to the stones, you are in the right place.

Free Wi-Fi, affordable, nice neighbors, beautiful view, and many hiking and sports opportunities :) We have been seasonal campers for two years and always find it lovely.
