When we were waiting for the camping operator next to the square, he threatened us with the police. He cannot speak English. He also insulted motorcyclists who wanted to take a quick swim there. We then moved on.

Lovely quiet spot under olive trees. Konoba with great food, easily accessible on foot. Friendly German-speaking operator. Also sells wine and olive oil. Super accessible from the new street.

Those looking for a quiet, idyllic spot away from the prominent beaches and trendy coves are in the right place here. The campground is separated from the small white gravel beach by a narrow road, which does not bother at all, as no car arrives in this dead-end street anyway, except for a few campers. The campground lies idyllically, completely natural, slightly above the beach, and offers ample space, trees, and shade. There are also a few spots down directly behind the beach edge, separated only by the road. The owner personally and kindly welcomes each arriving guest and assigns everyone a corresponding place depending on the size of the camper. The sites are not numbered or partitioned but are generously sized. They arise from the natural surface of the area. Everyone can spread out. Everyone has enough space and sufficient privacy. Overall, everything is very relaxed. The sanitary facilities are extremely clean. Hot water flows from all taps. At least twice a day, thorough cleaning is done. The chemical toilet deserves first prize for cleanliness. Gray water station available. The owner is always present and approachable and takes care of all concerns at all times. The beach is small, perhaps not as spectacular as at other coves, but little frequented almost exclusively by campers and thus quiet and idyllic. One can even find a shady spot under low pines. The water is calm and good for swimming. The minimarket has the bare essentials for survival and fresh bread in the morning. About 500 meters away, a restaurant offers fish dishes and mussels from the bay. Ultimately, there is one limitation: Wi-Fi works only in the beach area, not on the campsite. However, the moderate price makes up for that. In August for St.Pl. 12,- , per person 8,- and for electricity per day 5,- so 25,- for 1 pitch in high season. Highly recommended for individualists.

Very clean, quiet, and family-run site. There are many shade-giving trees on the flat meadow area. The operator is extremely friendly, helpful, and always concerned about the well-being of his guests. The functional sanitary facilities and showers were spotless and constantly cleaned. Fresh fish and other dishes are offered at reasonable prices upon request. A narrow area of the flat and partially stony beach is covered with gravel, but bathing shoes are recommended. Bread and essential groceries can be purchased at the small village shop located 300 meters away during the season.

Small campsite "At the End of the World"; at least at the end of civilization. Brijesta is a small sleepy fishing village without the usual infrastructure like a konoba, bakery, or mini-market (probably only in the main season). On-site the operator only offers beer, wine, ice cream, and fish by pre-order. The bay is shaped by shellfish farming (mussels and oysters). You can buy these directly from the fishermen. The operator is committed to keeping the site clean and progressively expanding it. The sanitary facilities are simply Croatian but always clean! A washing machine and chemical toilet are available. One tip: do not camp directly at the bushes/forest in the upper part. Here, nasty mosquitoes and ants lurk, which can invade the caravan via the branches. Conclusion: for all those looking for TOTAL seclusion, it's definitely nice. For families with children looking for an attractive beach, it's rather unsuitable or only for passing through. A tip from a permanent camper on site: explore by e-biking and discover remote coves.
