Camping Bijela Uvala

Our spot G187 was unfortunately not great, having two large trees right in the middle of the site. Since we only own a campervan, it was manageable. We are mainly disappointed with the sanitary facilities, which were not properly cleaned. Both in the men's and women's, there were feces on the walls that were still there after three days. On the first day, I was greeted on the toilet by blood and feces. I know that for the most part, people can be quite disgusting, but after several hours, it was still there. There definitely needs to be significant improvements. The site itself is beautiful, and the beach and water are a dream. The food was also great. However, just because of the sanitary facilities, we will probably not return, which is quite a shame since we were otherwise very satisfied with everything else.

The campsite is beautifully located and appears very modern at first glance, BUT... the sanitary facilities are not clean, shower drains overflow, and the toilets are often dirty. The pitches seem somewhat neglected, as do the pool areas. We found the handling of complaints particularly poor. We had to take a different pitch than the one booked because our originally reserved spot was too small due to a pile of earth. When we complained about this at the reception, we were offered another pitch (one category lower than the one we actually booked), but we did not receive the difference in price back, as this was supposedly not possible since we had already paid in full. For us, that's an absolute no-go. Additionally, the evening noise is quite loud, sometimes until late at night. Conclusion: we will not return.

The parcels in the Eh area as well as the washroom number five are great. The parcels are sufficiently large. That’s all I can say positively. Unfortunately, there is a very, very negative side. We noticed that it is very, very loud at night. This is due to the young people from the organizer, Ruf, Youth Trips, and Jam, etc. In addition, the very loud music from the Beach Bar adds to this. I also don’t know if there is a law in Croatia that prohibits alcohol for young people under 16. The Lillo Market has turned into a gathering place. Many young people gathered there to consume strong alcohol. I wonder where the parents are? The playground was transformed into a youth meeting place after 9:00 PM, and the behavior reflected that. Young people with air guns, which is just the least of the problems.

A site in a fantastic location with good infrastructure, clean washing areas, and a tidy beach. An overwhelmed check-in ignores bookings regarding the size of the plots and does not offer alternatives. Plots C9-16 are not suitable for caravans with awnings. There is no room for an external chair. No Superior! advertised and paid for between 60m² and 90m². A caravan, an awning, and then 40 cm left means 47m². C13 is unbearable due to the cherry tree and falling fruits or birds.

Great activity options also for teenagers, cleanliness of the sanitary facilities could be improved when the campsite is fully booked.

Pro: Location on the beautiful Croatian Adriatic coast, great large pitch with sea view, good WiFi, modern, clean washrooms, good shopping opportunities and restaurants on site Con: no drainage at the expensive Luxury Mare pitch, sometimes loud in the evening until long after midnight due to youth groups, no dog park or anything like that.

A pleasant stay, although there was little activity in the evening and the loungers around the pool were chargeable. Beware if you leave with Homair: several families of 4 and 5 people went; we, a family of 5, paid 400 euros more, but in fact, in this campsite, all the mobile homes are the same size and have the same number of beds. Worse, we who paid more ended up with old mobile homes, without dishwasher, TV, toaster, Nespresso machine, sunbeds, or a bottle of Chardonnay at arrival, unlike the others. We had a smaller fridge/freezer (strange for a larger family), only 1 bathroom or 1 WC while the others had 2. And damaged equipment, water leaks in the shower or a hornet's nest in the wall... No refund possible and no change of mobilhome, beware of scams!

The initial contact was good, but on-site it was unfortunately the exact opposite. The caravan just fits on the spot. An additional tent is already difficult. If you're lucky, you can park the car nearby; otherwise, it's 500 meters away in the parking lot. The parking spots directly in front of our plot seem to be a free camper zone! This can only be endured with humor.
