Camping Biggesee-Vier Jahreszeiten

After over 20 years, I came back here. The phone inquiry with Mrs. Pampus was very pleasant and friendly. I then spontaneously arrived a day earlier than originally booked, but that was absolutely no problem and was handled very kindly and competently by Mrs. Pampus once again. I was even offered to visit the site to possibly choose a different pitch, changing the booking would also not be an issue. I have been camping for 40 years, but this was almost extraordinary! In summary, a super beautiful and well-maintained campsite with excellent sanitary facilities and extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Five stars here are definitely too much. In the restrooms, one often searches in vain for toilet paper. The bread roll service offers only white rolls, and they can only be picked up from 8:30 to 9:00 am. There is also a lack of a cozy café or something similar. Only a shack that calls itself a restaurant (but is far from it) is available. The so-called supermarket is a joke. The comfort pitch is a gravel lot with a water connection. Therefore, it’s at best a standard pitch, and at nearly 100€ for two nights, it’s definitely overpriced. The staff could also use some practice in smiling. I have visited many campsites. This one was definitely one of the worst and isn’t worth a second visit. Very disappointing.

The nature trailers and their equipment were good, but that's all there is to it. The supermarket on the site was closed. The restaurant at the site could have been a goldmine, but unfortunately, it is not. The outdoor area looks messy and rather gives an impression of a snack stand. The prices do not reflect that. The campsite and its offerings are not worth 4 stars at this time; the bread service apparently only operates on weekends, and the swimming area is uninviting. There is a feeling of end-time atmosphere hovering over the whole place. Perhaps the management should spend 2-3 nights here themselves.

The sanitary facilities are top-notch, very clean. The spots have such a hard ground that attaching the awning or a tent is almost impossible. Unfortunately, it is not possible to get a cola or a coffee. Gastronomy not open, although opening times from 3:00 PM were indicated. Also, the price is too high for this place, in my opinion. What a shame.

The equipment was not as stated anymore. The restaurant and the mini market were closed. Emptying the wastewater tanks was not possible. WLAN was very poor. Information on the website about the upcoming festival was not complete. Despite everything, we had to pay the full price.

Generally a nice campsite with everything you need (if it were open)

Beautiful large spot, license plate recognition, online booking ok, roll service only on weekends, the nearest bakery is 4.5 km away, nice with the terraces, so you can repark if possible, the greywater station is poorly described and you have to maneuver a bit, hikes starting from the site are not optimal, only the road to Sondern, there is a nice restaurant there
