The sanitary facilities are top-notch, very clean. The spots have such a hard ground that attaching the awning or a tent is almost impossible. Unfortunately, it is not possible to get a cola or a coffee. Gastronomy not open, although opening times from 3:00 PM were indicated. Also, the price is too high for this place, in my opinion. What a shame.

Beautiful large spot, license plate recognition, online booking ok, roll service only on weekends, the nearest bakery is 4.5 km away, nice with the terraces, so you can repark if possible, the greywater station is poorly described and you have to maneuver a bit, hikes starting from the site are not optimal, only the road to Sondern, there is a nice restaurant there

Positive: The location of the campsite is of course premium. Great view combined with direct access to the lake gets a lot out of it. The campsite itself is very clear and well organized, and well signposted. Reserving online in advance is hassle-free and very manageable. The process is, in my opinion, modern. This means booking online and on-site, with license plate recognition of the vehicle, you automatically receive entry. Through the site plan and the corresponding reservation, you then also know exactly where to go. Sanitary facilities are okay, but it could be better! Negative: The quality of the pitches and their condition varies. Of course, you can book accordingly, but this refers more to the ground itself. Sometimes extremely sloped and hard, which means that flat head screws and good wedges as well as reducing plates are mandatory here!

The campsite has a sufficiently large and well-signposted access. The barrier opens automatically with license plate recognition. Reception at the front desk was okay. Our booked pitch was very steep, so we couldn't park our caravan parallel to the road. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities also left much to be desired. Some of the toilets were defective and/or not really clean. Unfortunately, we always had to wait in line when flushing, as only 4 sinks were available. The mini market was unfortunately closed, and rolls had to be ordered at the restaurant (limited selection). In the restaurant itself, food and drinks must be picked up independently (with a buzzer) at the counter. The Biggesee and the surroundings are really very beautiful. Conclusion: Well suited for weekend trips or short holidays with groups, not suitable for long stays.

Good location, nice spot, sanitary facilities in order, but partly old and damaged. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities also left much to be desired. The toilets were not cleaned at all, and the corners weren't really cleaned properly.

The place itself is okay, spacious pitches, aging but clean sanitary facilities, nice location by the lake. However, I would have wished for better information in advance. For example, shopping options and rolls service are not so easy to find on the homepage. The price-performance ratio does not suit us. We booked online. Unfortunately, not all information is provided (e.g. rolls service, free tokens for the dishwasher). When our son wanted to pick up the tokens at the reception, they were handed out to him with the unfriendly words, "If you don’t come to the reception, you can’t get any tokens." Furthermore, I overheard a conversation between a staff member at reception and a guest. The staff member was pleased that many guests book online, "then you don't have to talk to the guests so much"... is there any need for further words? This describes the feeling that is conveyed here: "Vacationers are a nuisance." A lot of prohibitions, little helpful information, and unfriendly staff. Such a pity, despite the beautiful location, we will certainly not come back.
