Camping Bellamare

The municipality imposed a bathing ban for the beach in front of the campsite in May 2013. This is not signposted anywhere, and there are always cases for the emergency room among the guests of the campsite, as is read in local feedback about the campsite. The bathing ban applies to the 500-meter long stretch of beach from the mouth of the Musone River southward.

Showers work with a chip. Perfectly arranged, because you can't stay under for more than 2 minutes, so no queues during rush hours. Beautiful wide beach with very fine gravel. Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. WiFi is poor and outdated. Sanitary buildings are due for modernization, but are clean.

Unfortunately, the place has developed into a passageway. Showering with the key system is a nuisance. Either it doesn't work at all, or in the middle of showering the water stops, then you have to go out naked to the booth. Then it continues "maybe".

Nice place at a beautiful, natural pebble beach. No umbrella orgy. Parking spaces small but sufficient. Sanitary facilities in order. Good restaurant.

Very friendly staff, all kind and helpful. Clean showers and toilets. Restaurant always well attended, very good food. The site perfectly sufficient for caravans and cars. Worth a trip again.

The campsite was the perfect start to our summer vacation. We were warmly welcomed. Clean pebbled beach where you can set up your own things. Sloping, so you quickly reach deep water. The plots are, as is usual in the south, rather small. Unfortunately, there is little shade due to the narrow trees. About an hour after check-in, you receive a rechargeable chip, which allows cashless payment throughout the campsite. The chip can be recharged either at the reception or at a machine near the restaurant - unfortunately, only with cash. Very clean, but aging sanitary building. We don't think it's great that the machines for the showers are placed outside, as you can hardly gauge if the programmed water amount is sufficient. Insert the chip once - 20 cents will be deducted. However, you can also insert it multiple times in a row. We found that one chip charge is enough for a normal shower including hair washing. Great, chill beach bar. The pool bar, which is also the restaurant, is also recommended. We felt comfortable and would come back at any time.

The site is highly recommended. You feel comfortable here. Very friendly staff and good restaurant. The campsite is well-kept and quiet. However, the washrooms and showers are dated and should be modernized. The beach is clean and very well-maintained.

Very clean and well-maintained place. Campsites on grass, so suitable for children. Partly somewhat little shade. Beach with fine gravel, but steeply sloping. Erosion from the adjacent river (not meant value-free). Lots of entertainment and other activities. Swim cap required at the pool, which is enforced. Many cycling excursion opportunities that are nicely described.
