The sanitary facilities with shower cubicles also include washing machines and tumble dryers. For a feast, head to the campsite's own restaurant, Le Petit Montagnard. Here you can enjoy traditional Franche-Comté cuisine in a cosy atmosphere under rustic wooden beams. The cheese fondue with cured ham in particular is a culinary experience. A special highlight is the restaurant's covered outdoor terrace with a sweeping view over the Combe d'Ain plain. If you want to eat at home on four wheels and don't want to cook for yourself, order a pizza to take away. During the summer months, you can also order bread rolls from reception. Ice cream and regional wines are also available. Well-fuelled, head off on day trips to the picturesque wine-growing village of Château-Chalon and the medieval Benedictine abbey of Baume-les-Messieur.
