We have been campers for 50 years, but this place was the worst we have ever experienced! The sanitary buildings are old, dilapidated, completely filthy, with pests everywhere. We did not get the impression they had been cleaned even once during our three-day stay. The pitches are significantly smaller than indicated, no grass, and when it rains you quickly find yourself in the mud. The dirty beach does not deserve this name; it resembles a larger sandbox without sand, rather with slimy clay. But the icing on the cake was the always unfriendly owner of the campsite, who, in our presence, unjustly expelled two young men due to a suspected sexual orientation. At my reaction (shaking my head), she immediately snapped at me, "and you can just leave too!" And we did...

Great location, pure quiet. However, plagued by a significant number of mosquitoes and other critters. Just pure nature. The entire staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant and the roll service were very good, there was even a small ‘mom and pop store’ that was well stocked. Here there was actually everything you needed and more. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was unfortunately very poor, and a renovation is also urgently needed. Only one of the two buildings was open. The dog playground was a sad sight. No fence and only on a leash. That's not a dog playground for me. Access to the beach is only for those who are very agile on foot; impossible with a stroller. Playground is great! Unfortunately, the bouncy castle was rarely in operation. The petting zoo was okay, but the care of some of the animals there should be reconsidered. Terrible road, bad for large rigs.

The access was unacceptable. The approach on the square itself is not recommended for larger vehicles. The staff was unfortunately only semi-friendly. For visitors (1h), an disproportionately high amount had to be paid. The number of showers was too low. Overall, the sanitary facilities were outdated. We definitely will not come back.

All in all, a disastrous campsite. The access road is unacceptable, the outdoor areas are neglected, and the sanitary facilities are old and in a derelict condition. Right at the entrance, visitors are greeted by the chemical toilet disposal, which is located only behind a wooden fence. The beach is tiny with a Dixi toilet and can only be reached via a steep path. The restaurant was permanently closed, and there were no connections to a bus. We had to pay for the campsite in advance, but left a week earlier. Absolutely disappointing, relatively high price, and therefore not recommended!

Hello everyone, First of all, we would like to once again express our gratitude to Ms. Engel and her team; it was a very relaxing and beautiful vacation. We stayed with our dog "Toni" from September 3rd to September 17th, 2022, at "Adlerhorst" in the Banzelvitzer Mountains. This cozy, spacious wooden cottage had everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable. (Ms. Engel had actually purchased them only after trying them herself for an extended period.) The location is simply fantastic, very centrally located on Rügen and ideal for our activities to explore the island. And to everyone who thinks they don't have to follow rules in life, which are essential for coexistence: That a Ms. Engel serves as a manager, who, by the way, takes care of everyone's well-being, and doesn’t just flutter her eyelashes as a solid woman and mother of several children is actually normal and logical. Anyone who can’t get along with Ms. Engel should reflect on their own behavior. Everything was good, everything was friendly, everything was orderly and without objection. Ms. Engel, we would love to come back!!! Best regards, also to your husband. Jörg, Gudrun, and Toni.

A day before arrival, we were notified by phone and clarified everything essential, and we were also able to order rolls right away. Since we planned a late arrival, everything was prepared accordingly, and there were no problems with the placement. The next day we were greeted warmly. The natural campsite at the Bodden in the pine forest is very beautifully laid out, with comfort pitches having water, wastewater, and electricity. The beach is easily accessible with two exits, grass lying fields, and sandy beaches. There is a dog area, playgrounds for children, and many animals. A small shop for the essentials is also available. There are mosquitoes, as everywhere on Rügen, but it's bearable. If you like it quiet, this is the right place for relaxation; the island is easily reachable by car or bike. The price-performance ratio is fine for us. Sanitary facilities are very clean. Many thanks to the nice and friendly operator family.

Well suited for families with children, as there is something offered for them. Not highly recommended for motorhome users, as it becomes difficult if you don't have everything with you. There are so many mosquitoes that you hardly want to stay outside. Price/performance in the season is absolutely exaggerated! For just about 10 euros more per day, you can get 5-star camping in Kühlungsborn.

We spent a weekend there, with children and dogs... Difficult beach access Chaotic management Very unfriendly operators This place is a gem and one could get so much out of it... But due to everything falling apart and the operators shining with absolute unfriendliness, we see a dark future here.
