We had chosen the spot for the mid and late season because the website advertised "no pets." Yet, at the reception, there was a dog prohibition sign! Having had bad experiences and resulting fears of dogs, we hoped for a few relaxed weeks. But far from it, the campsite turned into a dog park. Hardly any dog was on a leash, and there were free-running and constantly barking dogs, even at night. At every pitch you had to pass to reach the beach, you were barked at. Sunbathing and playing areas became dog toilets, as did vacant pitches and paths. Basins intended for rinsing or washing laundry were used as dog washing basins. Dog hair in the showers! Even in the bungalows, dogs were present. Despite complaints at the reception, nothing changed. We were left with no choice but to leave early. Also, hardly anyone adheres to the existing site rules! Some guests left after only two or three days, although they had intended to stay longer. It seems the operators are not concerned about the wellbeing of individual guests but rather about maximizing income. No recommendation.

Even in the bungalows, dogs were present. Despite complaints at the reception, nothing changed. The only option left for us was an early departure. Almost no one adheres to the existing site rules! Some guests left after two or three days, even though they wanted to stay longer. The operators apparently care more about maximizing their revenues than the well-being of individual guests. No recommendation.

The women’s sanitary facilities were very dirty. Ice-cold water for showering (the men had warm water). Shower cabins were very cramped and without hooks for clothes. You have to undress in front of others, etc., little privacy. For €28 and considering the ADAC rating, it was very disappointing. The expectations were very high. Barely any English skills at the reception. To rinse off, you had to press the button. The water jet comes so strong that you get very wet if you're not careful. Very annoying, especially if you want to control water usage. Only cold water for rinsing. The rinse basins were often not clean, which was more due to the dirty campers. A walk on the beach was nice.
