The location of the campsite is okay, at least if you look in the one (and photo-promoted) direction. In the opposite direction there is a heavily trafficked road where loud motorcycles rumble so early in the morning that you might fall out of bed. The site is also split into two parts, interrupted by another busy street, making it completely unsuitable for families with children. As has been pointed out in many reviews, hygiene is lacking. The sanitary facilities are scarce and filthy, at times even truly disgusting. We also observed the owner shouting and cursing vulgarly at another guest's child and his father. The 7 or 8-year-old boy was sitting on a piece of wall, looking at a book. This, however, did not sit well with the owner. Such outbursts seem to happen often, as we later heard from several other guests.

The location of the site is okay. At least when you look in the direction that is often photographed. In the other direction runs a busy road parallel: Already early in the morning, loud motorcycles jolt you out of bed. The site consists of two parts, interrupted by another quickly traveled road, divided = Not suitable for parents with children. As is already written in many reviews, there is a lack of hygiene. 1 sanitary facility + 1 toilet building (1 toilet per gender): dirty to sometimes really disgusting. Experienced toilets smeared with feces multiple times. The paths to the washroom are usually very far! About 80% of the tourist plots are located at the back of the site. From there you have to cross the road in the morning to go shower. We have also experienced multiple times how the owner insults and screams at the guests. Rolls picked up too late are enough for that.

This is our first time camping, and we found it great. It was quiet even though there was a road right behind us, there is a small stream and a children's playground. We felt very safe, there is electricity, water, clean toilets and plenty of space. One can hike very well there, and there were even people climbing the mountain. However, there is no network from Telekom or Vodafone (2025).

Very idyllic place, unfortunately the staff is so incredibly rude, I am actually used to something different, but unfortunately I cannot recommend the place because of the staff. The way customers are treated (sorry, but the customer is the one who ultimately ensures that the place runs at all) is so incredibly poor. The place itself is good, unfortunately the playground is right next to the street and not fenced off. The place is divided into two halves, a street runs right through the middle, and here too nothing is secured for the children. So really, you can't let the children run around there alone.

It is a nice, clean campsite. There is a playground right by the stream that is nicely designed. The sanitary facilities are clean and make a good impression.

We stayed here at the site for three nights. We were greeted extremely kindly. The sanitary facilities were very clean and tidy. The restaurant Bären-Schlucht offers delicious food and is also mega tasty 😋. Very beautiful area for hiking. All in all, a successful stay.
