Yesterday we arrived and were warmly welcomed right away. Hospitality is highly valued here. The place is manageable but very well-kept and cozy. The sanitation facilities are simply excellent and very clean. We would love to come back!!!

When the weather is mixed, you need a good spot with nice people. We were allowed to enjoy this between marble and apricots. Dear friends, today I am reporting on our two-week vacation at the Badlerhof campsite in Laas/Vinschgau. We are Mama Claudia, four kids aged between 5 and 13 years, and me. The campsite Badlerhof, located right next to the Etsch river and close to the center, has 38 pitches, with a good mix of caravans, mobile homes, and tents. All pitches have electricity (6 A) and fresh water, as well as facilities for greywater disposal. The columns were mostly shared by three pitches with their own access points. We had one of the larger pitches (No. 16), located between two pear trees. We wanted to stand in the shade, but this year that option wasn't necessarily required, though we did enjoy one or two pears. The German-speaking Hellrigl family and the helpers in the café were always friendly and eager to provide information. Except for Sundays, we bought fresh rolls from the bakery about 300 m away every day; the reception had some snacks, chilled drinks, and very delicious homemade ice cream. There were many German and Dutch campers, as well as a few Belgian and Italian ones on the site. Everyone was represented, from families with children to seniors. The playground was perfect for our youngest. For the older kids, there was a ping pong table. The highlight, of course, was the trampoline for all the kids. The washing machine and dryer (each 4€) were well booked. The sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean, and there was never any waiting time. There was a separate children's bathroom. We did not use the whirlpool or the sauna. The price also included free entry to the outdoor pool of Laas (max. 15 minutes on foot) as well as free travel by bus and train with the included Vinschgaucard, and further discounts, for example, for cable cars. The train station and the bus stop were located between the campsite and the outdoor pool and were reached within about 5 minutes on foot. However, the peace was never disturbed. Even the ringing of the parish church rather seemed to help us find tranquility. The location is perfect for excursions without a vehicle. Laas is located in the central Vinschgau along the Etsch cycle path, which we rode in both directions (sensational!!). Bicycles can be taken on the bus and train for an extra fee. Partly, there is a shuttle service. In and around Laas, there is plenty to experience and discover in the valleys and hills for big and small. The center of the village is about 5 minutes away on foot. Quite untypical for the area were the abundant rainfalls that occurred quite frequently this year. However, everything was dry again within two hours. Despite the very firm ground, the pitch (grass) was never muddy. For us, it was a wonderful and eventful two weeks, during which we did a lot on foot, by bus, train, and bicycle, and rarely by car. We will definitely come back and say thank you, dear Hellrigl family.

Great and very nicely landscaped and well-maintained campsite. Small but nice. Nothing is missing. Great sanitary area, washing facilities, hot tub, playground, café & bar on site. Bakery, butcher, supermarket, etc. within 2 - 5 minutes walking distance. Service is excellent, from the first phone call to departure. Highly recommended.

at the small and fine Badlerhof camping site. Perfect organization upon arrival, all formalities were already prepared and we could immediately take our pitch. The sanitary facilities and dishwashing areas were always maintained meticulously clean. Bakery, butcher, grocery store, cafés, and restaurants in the center of Laas are reachable within 5 to 10 minutes on foot. And the ringing of the church bells of Laas does not disturb at all during the day, it belongs to Laas and thus also to the campsite. At night, there is absolute silence at the campsite. We felt very comfortable in Laas and with our friendly host family.

The Badlerhof is a really great campsite. Only 35 pitches and unfortunately quickly booked out during the hiking season. The sanitary facilities are exemplary and always clean (like the whole site). The operators are very helpful, and in the café, there are delicious homemade cakes. A small but fine wellness area rounds off the offering. As a special feature, the free Vinschgau Card is worth mentioning, which grants 7 days of free use of all public transport throughout South Tyrol. Both the train station and shops and restaurants in the town of Laas are easily reachable on foot (2 butchers, 2 bakers, 2 small supermarkets, 3 restaurants (all good!)), what more could you want?
