Ferienpark & Campingplatz Bad Sonnenland

Great campsite with new sanitary facilities and a new kitchen unit for those who have no opportunity to cook. Friendly staff at the reception. Unfortunately, the dog beach is too small and unattractive. But we will definitely come back.

Despite the enormous heat, shady spots, free choice of place, top new sanitary facilities, clean and well-maintained, roll service, bus stop nearby, (unfortunately on a very busy street), good bike paths, one is quickly in Moritzburg, Dresden and Meißen, the Elbe cycle path is quickly reachable via Radebeul, the castle in Moritzburg is worth seeing, reception is very nice, the guesthouse Bärenhäusl in Moritzburg is highly recommended, we were there 2 days ago, for us it was a nice stay, we will definitely come back DK and AT from Stade.

What was good: nothing What was bad: Poor sanitary facilities; extreme noise levels from campers. No consideration for other campers seeking peace and relaxation.

A very beautiful and centrally located campsite, as a base for excursions to Dresden, Meißen, and Moritzburg Castle. Very well suited. The staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities could not be used (construction site), as an alternative there were containers with far too few toilets/washbasins, and showering was more than just annoying. In the morning, after the fresh cleaning, it was okay, but throughout the day I only reluctantly went to the 'quiet' place. It was unclean and often there was no toilet paper available - especially on weekends when the site filled up. I can only hope that everything will be better with the renovated sanitary building, because the site is otherwise very appealing and quiet. Considering the poor sanitary facilities, the overnight price was clearly too high.

Nice large area without parceling, disadvantage are the cuddle campers who do not even leave 2 meters of distance even though everything is free. As long as there is no wedding or party in the lake terraces, it is pleasantly quiet. When events occur, there are no responsible individuals to ensure peace. Music until 2 is normal. We have visited this place several times and avoid May to September. When the stallion parade takes place, it gets very crowded and very loud.

Friendly reception, very good signage, everything is clear, sanitary facilities and everything else top-notch. All in all, the price/performance is right. Very quiet. Location by the lake is very good. I have rarely seen such a good facility.

First camping overnight stay in the rooftop tent 2022 from Saturday to Sunday at this beautifully situated campsite directly by a lake. BUT: dull techno beats until early in the morning. It's impossible to enjoy nature outside and sleep was impossible ... unfortunately, we won't be coming back.
