Europarcs Bad Hoophuizen

Q: What makes Europarcs Bad Hoophuizen so special for water sports enthusiasts?

The campsite is located directly on the Veluwemeer and features a fine sandy beach stretching for several hundred metres. With its own marina, boat dock, and an on-site windsurfing and kitesurfing school, water lovers have everything they need. You can also rent boats or take sailing lessons.

Q: What are the pitches for holidaymakers like at the campsite?

Q: What prices and additional costs should I expect at the campsite?

Prices vary depending on the season and the chosen category. You should plan for the following cost factors: Overnight price for the pitch or rental accommodation Electricity (connections with 10 to 16 amps are available) Tourist tax or local duties Fees for dogs, if you are travelling with your four-legged friend Potential fees for using the sauna or the boat dock It is best to enter your travel dates directly to check the latest daily prices.

Q: What equipment do I need for the ground and how is the journey?

Since the pitches are located on flat grassland, standard pegs for your tent or awning are perfectly sufficient. Arriving by car with a caravan is straightforward, as the campsite is located very close to the motorway. This makes reaching your holiday destination quick and stress-free.

Q: What are the dining options directly on the campsite?

You do not have to leave the site to get a good meal. There is a cosy restaurant, a snack bar for a quick bite, and a grocery store directly on the premises. For larger shopping trips, the nearest supermarket is located about 4 kilometres away in the town of Hulshorst.

Q: Are dogs allowed at the campsite and what is offered for them?

Yes, dogs are very welcome! The vast nature surrounding the Veluwemeer is perfect for long walks with your four-legged friend. Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the entire site so that all guests – with or without dogs – feel comfortable.

Beautiful facility, camping area resembles a storage place

Family

Beautiful chalets but not a nice place for campers. You stand unlovingly on the edge, isolated from the rest. Only a mini playground for children on the camper area, that’s it. In summer, the facility itself is certainly very nice, as there are some play options at the beach, but we are very disappointed with the camping area. On rainy days, there is nothing to do other than the swimming pool, as there is no indoor playground etc. for children. Next to the parking spaces are storage areas for unused items. Parking spaces are separated by shrubs that have thorns, which are unfortunately very dangerous for children.
