Regenbogen Bad Harzburg

The large apartment is not cheap; however, it is very outdated and poorly equipped. The beds are uncomfortable, and there are no kitchen towels, sponges, or soap. Bedding and towels are also available at a hefty extra charge. In general, everything costs extra: Wi-Fi (which I haven’t seen anywhere in over 10 years), and the mini-swimming pool in the basement is more expensive than the local spa. There is no waste separation available (just one bin in the apartment). The refrigerator is very loud, and the kitchen appliances (stovetops and oven) are generally underpowered. The advertised trampoline for children also urgently needs renovation and costs money. For the price, there is definitely too little quality and service.

We had booked a standard pitch, and upon arrival, we could choose a spot on either side. Beautiful grassy areas, slightly sloped but leveled off, making them comfortable to use. The sanitation facilities are modern, clean, and more than adequate, even featuring cloth towels in the restroom area. However, there is only one building serving all parts of the campsite. Yes, showers cost 50 cents for two minutes, but the overall price-performance ratio is worth it. Wi-Fi is too expensive, and the internet quality is mediocre. The dining area is open, with friendly service and good food.

We booked a holiday apartment for 2 persons at the Bad Bramstedt facility for the period from May 19 to May 23, 26. On Friday, May 22, 26, a staff member from the facility suddenly appeared in the hallway of our apartment with unfamiliar guests. All rooms (kitchen, bathroom, living/bedroom) lead off from this hallway. We were very irritated and appalled by this intrusion into our privacy. It turned out that it was not a self-contained apartment, and the other guests had to pass through our accommodation. Neither at the time of booking nor upon arrival were we informed of this circumstance. A relaxing, safe stay was no longer possible, and we decided to leave earlier.

We booked a vacation apartment for 2 people in the Bad Harzburg complex. On Friday, suddenly an employee of the complex appeared in the hallway of the apartment with unfamiliar guests. All rooms (kitchen, bathroom, living/sleeping area) lead off from this hallway. We were very irritated and shocked by this intrusion into our privacy. It then turned out that it was not a separate apartment and that the other guests had to go in and out through our apartment. We were not informed of this circumstance either at the time of booking or upon arrival. A relaxing and secure stay was no longer possible, and we left earlier.

The wellness oasis is truly beautiful and definitely recommended. The entire site is very clean and tidy. However, an additional toilet cabin on the site would be desirable. We will definitely come back.

Good location, easy pitch allocation, great sanitary facilities! Pitches are on a slope, making setup a bit complicated.

Overall, the location of the campsite is very beautiful. However, the pitches themselves are quite sloped, making it difficult for us to find a spot. The playground is also very nice, but what bothered me negatively is that the trampoline costs money, and you have to disappoint your child by telling them they can't jump all day. We also found it unfortunate that showers were not included in the price. Internet could be booked for 4 euros a day, but it didn't work, and we paid for nothing. The staff is consistently friendly, and the sanitary facilities are clean, which is very important to us.

A wonderfully uncomplicated place, everyone is very nice and accommodating, and everything is very clean.
