good value for money, ACSI card accepted in low season Pitch/Accommodation for rent: spacious and shaded pitch, services in order
Coexistence with dogs is sometimes problematic, they definitely shouldn't go to the beach, too much commotion; this is likely the reason why we probably won't return to this campsite in the future.

It was simply fantastic. The volcanic lake with its black lava sand and crystal-clear water is indescribably beautiful. We also used the black sand for scrubbing by the lake. The view towards the castle is heavenly. The campsite is small and very cute. There is a path leading to the town, partly along the road, taking about 30 minutes on foot. Pitch/rental accommodation: The pitches are large and shady.
Everything was great. Pitch/rental accommodation: Everything was good.

This was a perfect base for travelling into Rome. Busy but relaxed site. Friendly fellow campers. Staff were helpful and spoke very good English. Pitch/rental accommodation: The pitches were a little closer together than we are used to but we had enough space for our VW camper and wind out awning. There were plenty of larger vans and caravans too. Local bus from outside the campsite was useful to get into Bracciano and then train into Rome. We tried to get a taxi back later in the evening and were told by a restaurant that taxis were almost non existent so we walked back to the campsite which wasn’t great because the roads are unlit.. if you do walk then make sure you have a flashlight.. don’t rely on phone light! All in all a very pleasant stay. Would stay again
