Unspoiled campsite with its own lake. Boating, stand-up paddling, swimming, etc. are free for camping guests. Fishing is also possible for day guests.

Beautiful site with its own swimming lake almost directly on the Weser

Family-run campsite with its own swimming lake near a decommissioned nuclear power plant. There are nice pitches and tent sites directly near the lake, also suitable for groups. Unfortunately, the campsite restaurant was not operating over Easter, and therefore there was no bread roll service. However, there was a nice Easter fire with refreshments provided by the operators. The large, undivided campsite field for passing campers is increasingly being built up with cabins. The toilets are not up to date, but they are clean and tidy and are presentable. The operators are nice and friendly. We felt welcome.

Beautifully situated by the lake but the rest... Well

The information does not reflect the facts on site. An email booking inquiry was never answered. On site, they were unaware that you had to register by phone beforehand. There are no designated pitches, so we basically sat right next to the neighbors. We had to organize electricity ourselves with numerous adapters (we brought a proper 2.5mm2 cable with CEE plug and socket in a 25m length + another cable and numerous adapters). The sanitary facilities are outdated. The bistro / local is closed (thus no rolls). Wi-Fi is also not available. The place was not explained to us. You had to explore it yourself.

Quietly located campsite close to nature
On a total area of 6 hectares, 48 pitches are available for holidaymakers. The campsite, which is also dog-friendly, naturally has water and electricity connections. The trees on the flat meadow area provide plenty of shade and privacy. Modern sanitary facilities, washing facilities, cooking facilities and WLAN reception throughout the site complete the versatile facilities. Younger guests can have fun in the playground or playing table tennis, while adults can relax in the sauna or solarium. The location directly on a 10-hectare bathing lake surrounded by a natural biotope with lush flora and fauna is particularly popular. Here you can spend relaxing hours with the family on the large sunbathing lawn in fine weather. Snacks, refreshments and tasty breakfast rolls are available from the campsite kiosk. There is also a restaurant that treats visitors to Italian and Greek specialities. The many leisure activities, such as extensive hikes or cycle tours along the picturesque banks of the Weser, ensure an entertaining stay. Boat trips on the Weser steamer, day trips by canoe or leisurely fishing on the lake are also popular activities for young and old. In the evenings, the campsite's campfire site with barbecue facilities invites you to enjoy a cosy get-together with music.
