Camping auf dem Sonnenhügel

We were there spontaneously for a weekend and thrilled by the quiet, relaxed, very family-friendly atmosphere. The place is located by a small bathing lake, a real insider tip with children. We will definitely come back again.

Great for a short family vacation by the lake, nothing special.

Quiet campsite with a beautiful environment for walking, especially with dogs. Many seasonal campers, all very open and friendly. I deduct one star for the free-range chickens that did their business around our caravan and more than once tried to get into our awning. What then happened with our two dogs can be imagined.

Outstanding place for a stopover, simple and straightforward, very nice operators who are also quick to help if something is missing, clean site, clean sanitation facilities that are cleaned multiple times a day. On the tourist site, there are enough electricity and water connection points available, maximum distance 30 m, the lawn is super well-maintained and very level.

Unfortunately, we only visited this campsite for 2 nights, due to a visit to the open-air stage in Tecklenburg. The journey to this place was very spontaneous. The operators are very nice and helpful. They also welcomed us kindly at 9:30 PM. The sanitary facilities are very clean and functional. There is nothing to complain about. There is a small tavern with drink service, but no food. However, there is a very good restaurant nearby that can be reached by car in 5-10 minutes. The site is located in the south of Lengerich, towards Ladbergen. There is a lake with swimming opportunities. I think, in good weather, this is a paradise for families. We would love to come back if the opportunity arises.

For us, a transit place. Marked by permanent campers. You can swim in the lake, but when you get out, you stand in duck dirt. Too bad. Average sanitary facilities.
