We were greeted very nicely, free choice of seats, sanitation was clean and tidy, it’s just over 2km to the train station, from there it’s 10 minutes by shuttle train to Zermatt. We would definitely come back.

The campsite is located in Randa, just before Zermatt. Very extensive grassy areas with many opportunities for camping. Many mountaineers stay here. A taxi shuttle regularly stops at the site, which takes you to Zermatt in 15 minutes. The site is quiet. The sanitary facilities are not great, but okay.
