Slightly sloped site divided by a small canal with medium-high rows of olive trees as well as orange, fig, and pistachio trees. Also with mat roofs. Palm trees and flower decorations at the entrance. Situated between residential houses on a road that is frequented day and night.

We believe that the ADAC should not list campsites that discriminate against campers based on their race, disability, origin, or way of life. We should have better read the reviews of other campers on Google first. Apparently, we experienced exactly the same thing that many others report. Avoid this place!!! Extremely unfriendly owner who commands campers around, scolds them, and has something to criticize about everything. Moreover, we have experienced, like everyone who travels by van, that we are being rejected because of our vehicle that apparently does not fit the concept. Only medium-sized campers of newer construction are welcome (small, large, or older vehicles as well as tents are rejected. The same goes for travelers with children, disabilities, or dogs). There is talk of a fictional 'group reservation' at a site that is apparently 3/4 empty.

Located on the main street, therefore not romantic at all. Bus to the station opposite. Tickets, however, are not at the reception, but from a machine about 1 km along the main street. Reservations are strongly recommended in the high season. Restaurants are also accessible on foot. The great thing is that there are no tourists in this neighboring street, but Greek urban life.

Very strange operators. Even though the campsite was half empty, they initially wanted to turn us away. Then we received a pitch right next to the entrance, claiming it was the only available spot. Electricity costs five euros extra, but we were prohibited from using the air conditioning. The reasoning was that it was too loud, even though we had no neighbors and the noise from the main road drowned everything out. My reasoning was dismissed with "I make the rules, otherwise you’ll be thrown out". Waste water can only be drained under supervision, fresh water can also only be filled under supervision. The operator runs around the site all day, checking everything… As described, just suspicious. Sanitary facilities are well maintained and clean. That's about it. No food, no groceries. The campsite is only suitable for visiting the city.

We were here for 2 nights to visit Athens. The camping is equipped moderately, toilet facilities are clean. Wi-Fi did not work. The ladies at the reception know their stuff, somewhat resolute, but not unfriendly. Tip: one should follow their instructions. You can quickly get to the center by bus and metro for little money, the ladies explain everything very well. And there is a supermarket and bakery nearby. The big disadvantage of the site is the noise from the directly adjacent six-lane main road. I think the price of €35 is too high, but there is no closer place in Athens.

Regarding the friendliness of the staff: I wasn't greeted particularly warmly, but certainly politely and correctly. You have to follow the somewhat strange instructions from the ladies at the reception; otherwise, it gets uncomfortable! This is the only campground in Greece where I had to leave an identification document so far, because that is supposedly a regulation in Greece! The campground is very well-kept and clean. Furthermore, it is a true oasis for those nostalgic about Covid: The staff here (July 2023) still diligently wears FFP2 masks - even outdoors, at 39°C in the shade! I consider it extremely intelligent of these people to act this way, even though there are no such regulations anymore in Greece. Indeed, even the "science" has had to admit in the meantime that especially wearing masks outdoors is complete nonsense - but health - of whom actually (?) - is of course important!

A very well-kept campsite. The pitches are assigned according to the size of the vehicles. The ladies at the reception are very friendly and helpful. You receive all the information regarding buses, metro rides, and city tours. The sanitary facilities are very clean and are constantly being cleaned. Unfortunately, the campsite is located on a main road, which can be heard quite well. This is not the responsibility of the campsite operator. For access to Athens, I can recommend this campsite.

The site appears closed off from the outside—don't be discouraged, ring the bell! Very friendly and helpful ladies at the reception. The site offers shady spots under trees or mat areas. Sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but kept scrupulously clean. Caution: shower water comes very hot! The market and snack bar were out of service at the time of the visit. This is the closest site to the city! Bus A15 or B15 to downtown stops in front of the site, until Larissa St., with further access to the Acropolis etc. — everything very easy. Location on the main access road Piräus, Corinth etc. causes high traffic noise all day and all night. Particularly bad on Saturday nights! Earplugs are recommended! Prices are in the Central European, big city range...
