Simple campsite with many small camping terraces (somewhat sloping). The sanitary facilities are basic - but functional - and clean. We were received very friendly despite our late arrival. The site apparently does not accept reservations - but takes in as many people as check out starting from 10 am. There is a bar with a disco on Saturday and a small store. A park leads to a beautiful bay with a fantastic sandy beach in 5 minutes. Bus stop right at the exit - train to Bilbao also within short reach. It's also a nice contrast to overly manicured campsites with a club character - more original camping - without an entertainment program.

The site does not remotely correspond to an ADAC recommended site: The places are not parceled - everyone just sets up where there is space. The night peace begins only at 24:00. Emails for reservation are not answered. Telephone reservations prove to be insufficient. The site is far from the beach and the city. The Wi-Fi is poor and is turned off at 21:00 - moreover, it is only available in the entrance area. The worst thing, however, is a constant smell of animals (dogs are allowed) or people who apparently cannot make it to toilets or dog toilets. Disgusting. And this throughout the site. We will leave quickly in 2 days - although the city is really beautiful.
