The beach and the bay are worth seeing. On the site itself, many rental caravans and tents. Sanitary facilities at the lowest level (standing toilets, simplest showers sometimes without hot water).... Acceptable with a camper.

I have known the beautiful bay since 1980. We stayed there with a Westfalia van in 1980 and 1981. From 1982 onwards, we went to a campsite. In May 2022, I was there with a large motorhome. The beach and surroundings are still very beautiful. The sanitary facilities seem to date back to 1982. There doesn’t seem to be any fundamental renovation being done. Investment is only being made in mobile homes. It's really a shame!

We have been visiting this campsite repeatedly for years, mainly because the location is incredibly beautiful. This year we wanted to go for the first time with the motorhome for a week with the children, but unfortunately missed the arrival day and although the pitch was rented out to others, we were not refunded the reservation fee with the reasoning from the responsible lady: 'the refund would not align with our policy.' She didn't even try to accommodate us with another date or in any way.

Huge facility in a beautiful bay. Shady, partly narrow pitches. Restaurant, beach bar, and supermarket available. Sanitary facilities in need of renovation and insufficient. Long queues form in front of the showers in the evening. Refilling water for the camper van was not possible. The site was mainly preferred by young people. The site was hopelessly overcrowded when we were there. Only conditionally recommended.

Camping Armenistis is beautifully situated in a secluded bay on the Greek peninsula of Sithonia, surrounded by rocks and densely wooded hills.
