Great new and above all very clean sanitary facilities. We paid 33 €/day for a premium pitch (which we could choose ourselves) measuring 115 m². Water and electricity included. So there is no question of rip-off. We would be happy to come back.

The place is actually quite beautiful. But the pricing policy borders on extortion. The pitch itself was already relatively expensive. Additionally, it is also very uneven. The most expensive spots by the sea are not recommended. Poorly cut, sometimes small and very rooty. The facility is divided into a hotel on the left side, the campsite in the middle, and an apartment complex on the right side. Campsite users have to dig deep into their pockets for the loungers at the beach and pool! When there are lifeguards at the beach and pool, they are just sitting on their phones. All pools are very overcrowded. People are jumping from all sides. Really dangerous. Food and drink are very expensive. A large soft drink costs 8 euros. That’s why most people stay at their spots. At the beach, an employee is constantly whistling in a whistle to get people off the paid bouncy castle in the sea.

Location and size of the parking space are good, sanitary facilities clean. Upon check-in, ACSI card was shown and registered, but upon check-out, despite objections, I paid the full price, as only certain parking spaces were discounted by ACSI, which was not mentioned upon arrival. Pure rip-off! The small bread section in the supermarket is a disaster for such a large facility; by 9:00 AM, the rolls were sold out.

The access is straightforward through a residential area. Upon arrival, there are spacious parking lots. New, modern reception area, friendly staff. All pitches are large, some uneven. There are pitches in the shade, partial shade, or in the sun. Electricity, water, and wastewater are available directly at the pitch. Sanitary facilities are new and modern, especially 1 and 2 are worth mentioning. Good starting point for a visit to Rovinj by bike or taxi boat for €7.00/person. It runs back and forth every hour. Supermarket available. Three restaurants were not tested. The only downside is that the pools belong to the resort, sunbeds and umbrellas must be paid for dearly by camping guests. €7.50 per sunbed, €5.00 per umbrella per day. However, a new pool facility is being built that will belong to the site next year. Beach not to our taste, here too only a small part is free for camping guests.

For me, the currently best campsite! We were there recently (5/24) for about 1 week and were thrilled. Nice staff, own selection of available pitches, mega clean and super new sanitary facilities (huge praise to the young man who kept everything consistently clean), there’s something for everyone from beach, pool, tranquility, large new playgrounds, and it’s also not a problem with a dog. If I had to criticize something, it would be that the loungers and umbrellas at the beach and pool are subject to a fee. However, in front of the campsite at the harbor, there are none - but you can't swim in the water there (harbor for small boats). But that’s really just minimal criticism, because with beach tents, etc., you can easily find your spot everywhere! I would go back here anytime.

Camping „Amarin“ Rovinj, Croatia, HR1050; Due to the ADAC tip for the above-mentioned campsite from 22.12.2022: „Recommended for 2023“, I booked the site for the period from 10.06 to 24.06.2023. The formalities of booking were easy to sort out, with great anticipation we arrived at the campsite on the scheduled date. The booked site „Premium Mare“ was adequate, gravel as ground, a boundary was formed by a construction fence! As it was Saturday, this circumstance did not initially bother us. From the following Monday, it looked different; the construction noise from large machines, chain excavators, cutting machines, jackhammers, etc. almost constantly reached us. There was no provision of food (supermarket was indicated) (except bakery and fruit supply by the hour). The next adequate commercial facility was 4 km away. The quality of restaurant, bar and pizzeria was modest when open. The „dog-friendliness“ was limited to a daily fee of 7,- EUR per day, there were no poop bag dispensers and dog waste containers set up in the dog area, the spot at the „beach“ offered the animals hardly any bathing opportunity and any playing actions were perilous due to the ground. The „splashing and playing“ was impossible without health risks for the animals. Only the sanitary conditions and the sporting activities for children and adults turned out to be excellent. The campsite fees and additional costs (e.g., for the parasol and sunbeds at the pool and beach, prices for drinks and snacks, etc.) were exorbitantly high (accommodation for 2 persons/dog: in Rovinj 75 EUR/day, in Marina di Venezia at the same time 55 EUR/day). Thus, we left the site with much resentment prematurely and spent the rest of the holiday in Marina di Venezia on the Italian Adriatic. We, longtime ADAC members and campers, are very receptive to their advice and recommendations. However, these must correspond to reality, I expect more care in the future in the preparation of evaluations and recommendations by them. This site should never have become a „tip 2023“, at the very least, ongoing construction work reducing quality should be communicated by the operator and PinCamp. The text will be sent to the campsite and Pin Camp for assessment of the site.

Lively, family-friendly and sporty - Camping Amarin in Rovinj in Istria is the perfect campsite for fun-filled days on the sandy beach with your loved ones and relaxing nights on the comfortable pitches or in the excellently equipped flats. Camping Amarin is ideal for families with children and active holidaymakers. The camp has a beach section for guests with dogs and is also the ideal starting point for numerous water sports and leisure activities in the popular harbour town of Rovinj. As an ADAC tip, the PiNCAMP site is recommended for any travelling party.
Camping Amarin is located in Croatia and stretches along the natural stone and pebble beach in Rovinj. This picturesque harbour town on the west coast of Istria has a beautiful old town with houses close to the water, as well as numerous historical buildings and sights. The campsite offers guests an area of around nine hectares with a total of 800 pitches, which are located in a shady pine forest. Some of the pitches are so close to the sea that you can still hear the sound of the waves when you are already in bed. The modern sanitary facilities on the ADAC four-star campsite are just as easy to reach from the pitches as the service station with grey water disposal or options for emptying the toilet cassette.
In addition to pitches for motorhomes or caravans, rental accommodation and flats can also be booked on the campsite. The rooms in the accommodation are spacious and can accommodate several people. Spontaneous bookings at reception are not recommended. On PiNCAMP, pitches and flats can easily be booked in advance of your holiday.
The campsite is particularly well known for its varied sports and leisure programme, which provides plenty of fun and entertainment during your holiday. In addition to pedalo hire, the campsite also offers tennis lessons and archery. Water sports enthusiasts are also well catered for at Camping Amarin: kayak and jet ski hire is available directly on the Adriatic beach. Sailing and windsurfing courses are also available. Teenagers benefit from Wi-Fi and for younger guests there is a mini club as well as an evening programme especially for children with a mini disco, mini cabaret and a cartoon evening. There is also a varied daily entertainment programme for young and old during the summer months of July and August.
Many bathing opportunities on the Adriatic beach, a large jetty and numerous sports and leisure activities, both on land and in the water, make the lively Camping Amarin campsite perfect for active holidaymakers. The bike hire service is ideal for a bike tour of Rovinj's old town, for example, and numerous cycling and hiking trails in the vicinity show the region at its most beautiful. Nestled in pine forests and olive groves, the campsite is also a haven of peace from the nearby town of Rovinj: On the large sunbathing lawn and on the beach, you can really relax and switch off. From the natural, predominantly rocky beach, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the old town skyline of Rovinj. It is also possible to book a hire car and visit interesting neighbouring places, such as the coastal town of Pula.
Whether for a few nights or two weeks - accommodation on a pitch or in a flat should be booked via Pincamp. The ADAC camping portal provides all current availability for this campsite for every travelling party.
